If I could select zero stars I would. Leah Dean in particular was really the main issue. She lost our folder that contained certain details we were were looking for in the design. She would forget every conversation about design and features. She would go weeks without responding to emails. We ended up with cabinet doors that were previously reused on another project. We rejected them and they returned doors that had other issues such as gouges, scratches and marring. We requested and paid for one cabinet style and received something completely different which we consider a downgrade in quality so it feels like a bait and switch. They charged for the design and when the cabinets arrived they did not fit under the ceiling height changes according to their designs. When approached on how this issue is going to be resolved Leah stated its not her problem and I as the consumer would have to pay the additional cost of cabinets that did fit. We ended up going through another cabinet company to resolve that issue. Two base cabinets were delivered broken which had to be returned which added another 3 weeks to the process. Lack of communication Failure to take ownership of the issue they create without any effort to resolution. Lack of technical expertise Zero Empathy shown to us for enduring several months without a kitchen because of her failure to address a real issue with measurements. She was very happy to take our money before we had the opportunity to look at and inspect the cabinets to make sure she got the order correct and check for damages before delivery. I would never recommend John Dean Cabinetry, LLC, 263 Boston Turnpike, Bolton, CT 06043 to anyone. I cannot express how terrible Leah was to deal with! Completely incompetent.

We could not have asked for a better kitchen remodel experience. Everyone at John Dean cabinetry was so professional, friendly, and easy to work with. Each step from design to install went smoothly and we were kept in the loop throughout the entire process. Leah (owner/designer) was amazing and made sure all our requests were met, and was especially helpful in offering up design modifications and cabinet options to get the most from our new space. John (our installer) worked magic in our slightly crooked 1960s home, and did a truly incredible job. The quality of the cabinets are far superior to anything we looked at from the big box stores, and were priced more reasonably. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to do a kitchen/bath project. We absolutely love our new kitchen and cannot thank John Dean cabinetry enough!

Weve been thrilled with the craftsmanship and quality of John Deans work, and even more thrilled with their prices -- they out-do any other options we considered for our boys "jack & jill" bathrooms and shared tub/shower space as well as for our master bath. For the boys, they did 2 vanities and 2 linen closets, plus a matching panel for the front of a built-in bench in the shared tub/shower room, and for our master bath, they did a large double-vanity and matching panel for the front of the tub. All custom sizes and custom colors, and absolutely beautiful. Ill come back with photos once the knobs are in (we ordered those separately). I couldnt recommend John Dean Cabinetry any more highly, and well be back when its time for the kitchen!!

John Dean built us an incredible custom kitchen, just in time for Thanksgiving. Throughout the design process, John made sure we thought of every detail. He was super knowledgeable and extremely patient with multiple plan revisions. John is such a great guy, and he made the whole process really enjoyable for us. Our head installer was also terrific -- very detail oriented and offered a ton of last minute finishing touch suggestions that we never would have thought of. Dean Cabinetry has a lot of happy clients. They have a strong following because they build outstanding quality cabinetry at competitive prices -- and they are really great to work with.

I undertook a complete ground-up remodel of my kitchen earlier this year. I was very particular about the cabinet design, colors, locations, and additions. Leah was extremely patient, very accessible, and we spent approximately four months back and forth to finalize the layout and choose a cabinet design. We finally started moving forward with the install and it went seamlessly. The communication throughout the whole process was great. Everyone at the shop is very friendly and helpful. I recommended them to friends of mine who share my sentiment. I would recommend anyone to stop by the shop with their ideas and consider using Dean Cabinetry.

Having finally found inspiration for my new kitchen in a magazine, I set out to find "that look". I found it at Dean Cabinetry. Leah is terrific - she had an ideal peninsula cabinet color - a wonderful shade of wood halfway between brown and gray - that coordinated perfectly with the creamy white of the kitchen cabinets I picked out. Leah also had a great cabinet for the bathroom vanities - a door style that I just fell in love with. Top it all off, the price was right, too!
