As usual, the only place I will go for repairs is here at Midas in Danbury. They take the time to find the problem and do the right thing. Mike and Dawn continuously will keep you updated on the status of your car. Example, Mike called me a t 8 oclock one evening to let me know how they were progressing. It went in for brakes and an engine light. We thought the engine light was fixed, but they are tricky. It turns out after I brought it back because the light came back on, that the one part that was bad was causing it to identify another part to be bad even though it was not. They did the right thing without me asking, and charged me for the part that did need to be replaced and refunded me for the part that did not. They easily could have had me pay for both, but they did not. Integrity is doing the right thing even if no one is there to see it. This they did. They have a great team there. Thanks again.

We were headed south after vacationing in Maine were we had just had a minor repair completed at a tire shop. There was a slowdown in Southbury and we began to here a metallic rubbing sound. Not quite halfway home at 4:45PM on a Tuesday I began calling garages, but no one would see us. Then I contacted Dawn at Danbury Midas. Her reassuring voice gave simple directions and we were ushered right in. I was impressed with Dawns customer service skill as I watched her while we waited. Soon the manager came out and clearly, calmly, and completely explained that the lug nuts on the tires that were repaired had come loose and they had tightened them as well as completing a safety inspection including the brakes. This was all listed as a "courtesy check" and we were sent on our way feeling safe and secure. Thank-you so much for the kindness extended to strangers.

Despite working down the block from Midas for the past decade, unfortunately I discovered what an amazing company and group of people who work there a few months ago! Due to an emergency with a tire, I found myself slowly driving there for the tire repair and have been returning for all other car issues since (routine oil changes and 2nd tire emergency!) Mike and Dawn go above and beyond with their customer service, most recently squeezing me in twice to figure out the reason for the illuminated check engine light. Mike took the time to investigate and supported my need to bring the car to the dealership instead of Midas doing the repair. That is true customer service and I will be a customer for the foreseeable future!

I was really happy when I could get service on the weekend and get two issues resolved with my car at the same time. The service was professional, timely and reasonably priced. Dawn and Mike have both been very helpful in explaining what needs to be done with my car, in giving me accurate estimates and answering my questions. Dawn has been especially helpful with her friendly demeanor and willingness to explain what needs to be done. I have a car with high mileage and theyve alerted me to other work that needed to be done. Work that is sometimes easy to overlook but was very helpful to know about so that I could plan for it. I feel they can be trusted and I really appreciate having their service.

Dawn has the front of shop covered and makes sure the customer satisfaction is high. Mike has the back of shop covered and has the experience and knowledge to make sure any and all issues with my car are resolved completely. There are also some other experienced technicians that are all very polite and hard working. Sean takes care of my car most of the time and I couldnt be happier. Ive been meaning to write this review for a while. I spent a while bouncing around from shop to shop unhappy with my experiences and finally landed here. Ive been coming to this Midas for a couple years now and wont take my car anywhere else. They almost feel like family now.

Midas in Danbury has been a valuable asset to our family. We have been taking our cars (many many makes and models) since we moved to the area many moods ago. Mike runs the shop professionally and gives an honest appraisal of the work to be done. He will work to find the best price as he can. I NEVER feel taken advantage of and would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing servicing. Dawn has an upbeat and friendly personality and is a wonderful "face" to the shop. The team here is trustworthy and kind. So thankful they are around.

Very friendly staff. Had my A/C checked out, had no idea what the issue was. They diagnosed the problem and checked all the electronics at a very reasonable price. Turned out it was the A/C compressor. I wasnt thrilled with the quote they gave me to replace it, but was very happy that they were able to determine the exact issue and notified me before they made any expensive repairs. Im yet to have the work done, but my experience so far with their expertise and diagnostic skills has been very positive.

The crew at this shop is outstanding, from Dawn at the customer service, Mike the manager, and the great work the techs do. When the price they quote you is much higher than even the dealers, you know theyre trying to rip you off. Wont give prices over the phone, they want to see the vehicle. Probably thinking once they have it all apart and youve taken the time to come there, youll just say ok. Will never go here again and will warn everyone away from them. Too bad, because the woman who works the desk is very nice.

I have been going to Midas for 7 years and would never go any where else. Mike and Dawn are the best. I never have to worry if my car has been repaired correctly, they get you in and out and Mike always advises me of what and when I may need some work done. Mike is by far the best diagnostician around and he goes over and above to ensure that you get the repairs needed on your vehicle. On a recent very tricky repair, he went over and above to get the repair done. With his skills and Dawns warm and responsive customer service, its always a pleasure to do business at Midas.

Have lived in Danbury and had occasion to use this shop for the past 7 years and find them to be quite competent and reasonable. Previous review was likely under some former management as Ive had nothing but good experiences with Mike the manager and their work. They wont talk you into things you dont need.
