I cant speak for the South Windsor location because Ive not been there but I can speak to the Glastonbury location. My children have all attended this program and my youngest will graduate from Pre-K this year. My older two children were more than prepared for the rigors of the public school system when they entered into Kindergarten. This school does really creative programs and lessons. This center isnt a corporate school where everyone looks the same and there is no individuality. This school is unique, funny, flexible, warm-hearted, and realistic. They are not selling things that dont exist in reality which for us, is very refreshing. My child isnt learning to speak Chinese and isnt learning to do karate but my child is learning how to build structures using recycled materials, how to camouflage a lizard into a famous painting, and how to be a diverse and accepting person. Im not saying this school is a good fit for every family but what I am saying is that it has been a perfect fit for my family and the Director and the staff work tirelessly to make this a place worth coming to each and every day.

Dont let issues with other FFL centers ruin your opinion of the Glastonbury location. Theyre all run by their own directors, and the one that runs Glastonbury, Miss Miranda, runs a tight, loving, supportive ship. She doesnt let things slip through the cracks, and she hires awesome teachers. Im a new mom and my kiddo joined FFL Glastonbury at 2 months old. I was SUPER nervous about leaving him there, but my fears were gone by the time I picked him up at the end of the first day. The teachers really care about your kids and they pay attention to needs, milestones and of course, fun!

The facility is nice. The staff are friendly. There are a lot of activities for children. It can be a bit chaotic during the afternoons, and I would prefer more structured play for my children.

The pre-school teacher and many of the support staff are wonderful. I especially feel the the director, Jen, is very responsive to parent concerns and needs.
