I have to agree with No Good... We placed our child there for 2 weeks at 18 months. Our happy and easy going child was crying each day we picked her up and we arrived to see her standing in a corner crying by herself. I am an educator and realize that an adjustment period is necessary so we stuck it out. Until we got her home to find a bite mark on her arm. In a place that she would not be able to physically reach with her own mouth. When we called to ask about the incident (because they did not tell us at pick-up, nor was an accident report documented) they told us that that couldnt have happened there, and tried to say that it wasnt a bite mark. This being said to my husband who is a police detective and investigates child abuse daily and easily recognized it as a bite mark. I realize that children are going to have accidents, but take responsibility and TELL me! That means that 25% of a given group was not being watched- my daughter and the child that bit her. We are now at a great facility that she has LOVED going to since day one, and had a I guess I should have trusted my gut instinct from the start.

In response to "No Good" review... you are crazy!! Building Blocks is the best thing that ever happened to my child. The staff really cares about your child making sure they are always well taken care of. My daughter has been going to Building Blocks since she was 3 months old, she is now 14 months and is doing great and is always happy. The Director is exceptional she is always available and there are rules at every daycare so there should be no complaints. And as far as your kid crying alot, you have a 3 year old that is probably just a clingy kid. Get over yourself and stop bashing one of the best daycares in Wallingford.

I have my Five year old in this school and she loves it. She has learned alot and will be advanced when she hits the 1st grade. Would "No good" prefer they be on the phone all the time and not pay attention to thier child? Leave a message if they cant pick up they will call back. The director is there all the time right at the front entrance. Its impossible to not see her in four weeks! If your school judgement is like your typing and grammar skills your way off! Your review read like an old corny caveman movie Old school bad. New school good.

I am extremely pleased with the care and attention my son has received since starting at Building Blocks! He has grown both socially and educationally under the care of the superior staff, as well as Christine, the owner. The rooms are clean, bright and neat and the outdoor area is very big to accommodate all age groups. I love the outdoor "barn" where the kids can burn off some energy even in the cold weather. Nothing but great things to say about them!

My son has been at Building Blocks for 3 years and we (and he) loves it. The teachers have been very nice and responsive to anything we have asked of them and we always feel that he gets the attention that he needs. We feel he is getting a great headstart for future education plus the social skills that will help him transition to the next level. Thanks!

We pulled our kid in 4 weeks and joined in another school. 1. Never able to talk to Director in 4 weeks. 2. One out of 11 phone calls was picked. 3. Lot of rules , none for them. 4. Only one day he did not cry when looking us after the school. My 3 year old kid tells new school is good.Old school is bad.

My daughter had been at Building Blocks for almost a year now, she is happy, well cared for, and enjoys her time there. Director, teachers, and staff are all experienced, knowledable, and nurturing. We love it!
