My child was in the two-year-old class at TLE in Cromwell. Although the permeating corporate climate made me a bit uncomfortable, but daughter had a blast. Her teacher was awesome, although I wasnt impressed with the next teacher she was supposed to get before we left. The big plus here is the indoor play area that the kids have for rainy/winter days for a type of indoor recess. The big minus (in my opinion) is their money-making corporate strategy. They have 1-2 times the number of kids at each age level when compared to other daycare centers. They get away with this by dividing each room up, so there are "2 rooms" instead of one (the kids have to go out into the hallway to get onto the other side). This is fine, except when children are arriving early or leaving for the day, they start shuffling children around to minimize the number of teachers needed. I dont mean late, I mean this starts at 3-4:00 PM every day. If I didnt get my daughter by 4 (they are open until 6 I think), she would be in a different room entirely that she wasnt familiar with. Many times I would come at 4:30 to find her with a bunch of older kids, and she was alone visibly upset with teachers I didnt recognize. This might be okay for some people, but I would rather be elsewhere. Its not like the rates are much cheaper than other daycare centers... all that efficiency at the childrens expense is basically some shareholders profit. I would say overall it was a positive experience, but I largely chalk that up to her teacher being excellent. It was always clean and safe with plenty of toys.

Wouldnt recommend it for toddlers going through separation anxiety. I was assured by the center director (new owners) that the teachers will assist my 18 month old in transitioning and will work with him in making sure that he gets comfortable. NEVER HAPPENED! I go in one fine day to pick up my son a bit early and I hear one teacher pass a snarky comment about my son to the other teacher, while the other teacher did nothing. I was so angry and broken inside to hear something like this coming from a child care provider. We as parents trust these centers with our kids and the sad fact is that we dont even know whether our kids are getting the proper care they deserve. I immediately filed a complaint and took my son out of this setting. The center director is a nice person but I dont think she took my complaint very seriously. And to make it worse, we had to pay her for 2 weeks since we pulled him out without giving any notice. Guess what parents! If you feel your child is going through emotional issues at the TLE, you still need to put your child through hell because of their policy or pay them.. Stupid money making business!!!

My daughter who recently turned 3 has been attending since she was 18 months old. TLE was recommended by a colleague whose daughter attended. My daughter has learned much since she began at TLE. They have a regular scheduled curriculum which includes sign language and an additional language (which is currently Mandarin). My daughter has transitioned through 3 classrooms and teachers this year which is always difficult at this young age. The teachers and the center director have all actively worked to help ease her transition. If youre looking for daycare in the Cromwell/Rocky Hill area, check them out.

My son has been at the center since May. The teachers and staff are excellent. Its a very clean environment. My son loves going to "school" everyday and seeing his friends. They offer snacks, drinks, and a lunch. If I ever have any concerns, the director is upfront and honest with her answers. I would recommend this center to anyone in the Cromwell/ Rocky Hill area.

I have twin girls who have been attending since they were 3 months old. The staff is awesome. You can tell they really do enjoy having my kids there. My kids always have smiles on their faces when they see Ms. Sarah in the morning. The facility is clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a daycare.

My daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old. I have been nothing but happy with the teachers and staff. They are friendly, responsive and easy to communicate with. The facilities are clean and inviting. I would and have recommended this program to friends and family.

We cant say enough about the staff at The Learning Experience in Rocky Hill! Our 5 month old son loves his teachers, the arts and crafts, and the sensory play. We are so lucky to have found such a wonderful place for our son to learn and grow during this important time.

My son absolutely loves going here. We are very happy with all his teachers and also the admin staff. Everyone is very approachable and pleasant to talk to. The teachers are very attentive to every childs needs and take good care. I highly recommend TLE to all! :)

Great center. Only been going there for a few months but the whole place has been great. My child always talks about what theyve done in school - shows me what new words she knows, and how shes learning multiple languages!!

My children (ages 3 and 6) attend the after school program and love it! TLE has been great, my kids are always smiling when I get there! They accommodate for half days at school and weather dimissals from school as well!

Our daughter loves it here, the teachers are great, very involved in the childrens learning. It is worth the price to have lunch and snacks taken care of, that really saves us time.
