Our 10 month old son is going to Educational Playcare (EPC) in West Hartford on Fennway and we absolutely love it! We moved him from the EPC center on Farmington Ave due to location for us and had no issues with the transition. All of the teachers LOVE our son and it makes us feel so good that they all know his name and we feel they take care of him like their own child while we are at work. The hours are so flexible for working parents and really help so I dont feel rushed. Having diapers provided for the first year is also a HUGE help as well as healthy food once they can eat. The emails throughout the day with pictures as well as his report card gives me an extra boost and makes me confident of my choice seeing him smile. The kids are involved in educational programming from the start and my son is much further along than friends kids who arent in the EPC family. They send materials and emails home so you can reinforce the programming at home. I would highly recommend EPC and you get every $s worth!!

My two girls have been at ECP WH for a year and a half and I am very pleased with the care and education they are receiving. All of the teachers have been wonderful and truly care about the children. They do wonderful creative activities with the kids in all age groups. My almost two year old does art projects on a daily basis and is starting to say the ABCs. My almost four year can sing the colors in Spanish, write her name and recognizes all the letters. The teachers do a great job of finding the right balance of play and learning so that learning is fun. The administrative staff is also wonderful. They do a great job of addressing any concerns that may arise and really cater to working parents through things like the diaper program, monthly in center haircuts and supplying snacks and lunch. The little lunch menu is diverse and has exposed my daughters to foods that I probably wouldnt have thought to try with them. All in all ECP has been a wonderful place for my family.

If I could give this facility, teachers, and administration 10 stars each, I definitely would. I have had a child in an EPC program since 2011 and couldnt be happier. My two children are very different, yet both have been in full-time care and done remarkably well at EPC on account of their high-quality teachers, programs, curriculum, consistency and standards. Both started in infant programs, and now one is in the toddler and the other recently entered the summer camp. Both of my children absolutely love this school and really like their teachers. As a mom, there is no better feeling than witnessing your childrens excitement about their day at school, as well as the genuine love and care they receive from their teachers. My children have learned so much about self care, independence, sharing, routines, and many other academically enriching activities while at this school. I highly recommend you take a visit and see for yourself

I could not be happier with Educational Playcare! My daughter has been at the center since she was 6 weeks old and when I drop her off in the morning I know she will be lovingly cared for until I return to pick her up. Every member of the staff is friendly, polite, and personable. Both the keypad lock on the front door and the personal nature of the center (even members of the staff who do not care directly for my daughter know our names) contribute to a feeling of safety that was unparalleled in any other center I visited. The tadpoles app sends me pictures throughout the day and a summative report at the end of it that details my daughters naps, feedings, and diaper changes. Super helpful!

Educational Playcare has been such a great place for our daughter. She started at 6 months old and is now 9 months old. The babies are always doing fun, age-appropriate things - playing with toys, painting, yoga, music class... We have a sense of what she does all day because of all the photos we receive throughout the day via the Tadpoles app. The teachers are very kind and loving - theyve made gentle suggestions about things like introducing new foods and getting our baby on a nap schedule, but they let us find our own way on our own timeline. In addition, the hours are very convenient for our work schedules. Highly recommend!

We love EPC! My son has attended for a year and a half, and my daughter just started today. Its always hard to leave your kids, but the staff at EPC make it so much easier. As a parent, I love the pictures, updates, healthy food options, and creative activities. My son loves going to school, and I am sure my daughter will soon feel the same way. Whenever, I have had a concern about my son (not about EPC, more "is this behavior normal?!?!"), Libby and the teachers have always had an open-door/ open-ear policy. I feel like I am a better Mom for having them around. Thanks EPC!

My husband and I are so happy with EPC. The entire staff is so kind and caring, the facility is bright, clean and beautiful, and the curriculum and activities that the kids do daily are so creative! Our son has been attending full time for over a year and its clear from the photos and videos sent during that day that he always has so much fun. Having food and milk provided daily is an added bonus - one less thing for working parents to think about. We highly recommend EPC for anyone considering daycare in the area.

Our child started attending EPC one year ago when we moved to the area. We are very pleased and satisfied with the center. The facilities are bright and welcoming. The teachers are knowledgeable, plus extremely nurturing and caring. The curriculum and activities have taught my child so much over the last year. My child is thriving and happy to be at school. A bonus is that EPC also serves balanced meals and snacks-- it is nice to not worry about sending food to school!

EPC (West Hartford) has been an amazing experience, both for my son and our family. This center offers everything you could ask for in a high quality daycare/ pre school program; top of line the safety/ security features, play-based curriculum, meals prepared on site, wonderful enrichment programs, and caring, loving and very personable staff. We are continuing with our second year this fall and will even do third year of kindergarten prep after that!

We love EPC! The teachers are wonderful and truly care about the kids. My first son attended a different location of EPC and is entering kindergarten now and was very well-prepared, and we love knowing the same curriculum, care, and experience will be shared by my second son in West Hartford! They provide so many extras - food, yoga, music, sign language, etc. and logistically, their hours are great.

EPC is a welcoming, fun environment. My son started there at 3 months and is now 16 months. Every time we walk in the door we are greeted with a smile and everyone knows my son by name. They have taught him sign language and he has made some great friends there! Plus the teachers send you some great pictures and updates throughout the day!!

All three of my children attend Educational Playcare. We absolutely love it there! All of the teachers are wonderful and take such good care of my kids. I also love that they provide all the meals for my older two children and diapers and wipes for my infant. Its an amazing feature that no other daycare offered.
