After attending a guest party and taking a few introductory lessons at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Glastonbury, my husband and I enrolled in their beginners program. We were both interested in learning to dance in order to feel comfortable at weddings and parties, however we were a little hesitant due to our lack of experience. The instructors very quickly put us at ease, were very encouraging and made each lesson fun, yet challenging. As professional dancers they all love to dance and enjoy transferring their love for the art of dancing to novice dancers. The atmosphere at the studio is very friendly and welcoming. After a year and a half of participating in lessons, group classes and dance parties we are feeling much more comfortable and confident in several different smooth and rhythm dances, including waltz, fox trot, tango, rumba, swing and cha-cha! If you have an interest in learning ballroom dance, the Fres Astaire Dance Studio in Glastonbury is where you want to go!

I cant say enough great things about this studio. My husband and I started dancing there 2 years ago. We were hooked instantly.The atmosphere is always upbeat and fun. As active members, we look forward to the free group lessons offered every week night, as well as, the free social dance parties every Friday night. Theres never a dull moment at this studio, from the in-house costume parties and competitions...to heading out to national competitions! The dance teachers are 100% dedicated to helping you reach your goals. Dancing improves your confidence, health, social life and much more. Check them out!
