Unlike other reviews, my 17month old is in kindercare and has been since winter. We picked Kindercare because of proximity/price as well as it met objectives for our son during the day. Advantages - they seem to be very engaging, painting/creating/doing something everyday. They have a corporate curriculum that is adhered to, so that is nice. They do not close often, and have limited holidays. I think this winter they did close twice, but this winter was CRAAAZZZY. When we first arrived our son was placed in a "main area" with other kids when the rooms were combined (such as the anonymous author notes). He was so new/so young that he just looked scared. I asked for him to be in the infant room, because it was quieter/easier. I hope there is no harm and no kids were "trampled". I have never heard the issue. Soon he can go into the main room no problem (probably now) As far as clean? It is hard to say. I havent had any issues, and never noticed an overflowing trash can. So Im not too concerned. It isnt as clean as bright horizons maybe. . .but it isnt dirty either.

I went to this daycare center to see if I wanted to send my child there. After touring the facilities I was left with a very bad impression. The staff were young, disorganized and had not been there very long. The infant room was dirty (overflowing trash can, dirty mats that everyone walks on and tracks dirt onto from the outside) and the main caretaker was not quick to change dirty diapers or wipe snotty noses (I walked over to one infant who had dried snot all over his face and when his parents came to pick him up the caretaker did not even acknowledge them when they told her the baby had a dirty diaper!) Also, in order to save money the daycare COMBINES age groups in the mornings and in the evenings because different parents drop off and pick up at different times. This means that 2 year olds and infants are in the same room for parts of the day. Even though they are still in ratio (4:1), I would hate to have any infant trampled by a 2 year old! I would be VERY wary of sending any infant or toddler to this place.

My son started the 3 full day program when he was 18 month. Some people warned me that their kids were not happy for a year when starting daycare. In a month, he first waved me bye-bye instead of crying. (then he started to cry after that but his crying only last to the moment he couldnt see me..) In the 3rd month, he started full time. Ms. Joanna did a great job giving him his favorite toy, a Thomas train, when he arrives the class room. Works magically. I can see that he is actually happy there now (about 3 month since he started). He enjoys the activities that he couldnt do at home. Its really heartbroken in the beginning but Im glad the transition has been smooth so far. I give 5 star not because they are perfect, I do think there are some improvement can be made but I also understand their responsibility for safty too. Anyway, Im pleased that my son enjoys his time there.

I have had my son there for almost 2 years and I wish I had gone there sooner. The teachers are amazing- all the staff are so friendly. It feels like family there and the school is always clean. I will be bringing my baby there soon too! Cant imagine another place to put my kiddos
