Flashy advertising and signage but just your average car wash. I dont recall the name of the old car wash at this location that my grandparents used to take me to twenty years ago after wed come home from church, but it even without the glitz and glamour, it had seemed to have a certain class. Theres something about the new car wash that is missing. Youre greeted with package deals for washes/detailing and its often a lets make a deal game. Its not that theres the option for negotiation, its that each time I visit I often have an aggressive sales pitch. Sometimes its necessary to follow the proper laws of business by assigning a pricing plan and sticking to it. The most annoying aspect that perturbs me about each Splash Car Wash is that they quote you an estimated time when theyll finish the job - "15 mins" (as if thats reasonable for a basic detail, so you figure a little more) - they take so much time. I have waited 45 mins to an hour when not even getting a detail. I do like Splash Car Wash. We dont have many options in the area. They do a decent job. They could do better.

1-28-2016 - brought my jeep grand cherokee to the splash wash on amity rd.. the greeter asked if i wanted the 16.95 outside only wash - i told him i wanted the inside done too. the works plus - $ 23.99 i was told did the whole vehicle. the splash did a pretty good job , when home i checked , and found that -that works plus did not include the rear cargo area. thats the section i wanted done .( i have a puppy- and keep his travel crate there. everything had been removed for the wash ). when home- i did wipe it down. i phoned the business- the woman said they usually dont vacuum the trunk - i dont think the cargo area is the trunk- in an suv - its part of the vehicle. i was not completely satisfied.

Worst place I ever saw, I paid $60 for carpet shampoo and leather seats cleaning, the carpet not cleaned from the trunk which was bearable but that seat cleaning guy didnt even cleaned the seats properly, there was NO change at all in my cars seats, when I dropped the seat there was still a bunch of mess in the corners. Moreover, there was a NEW sealed bottle of Meguiars leather polish in my car, which was missing after the service!!! when I asked for, they took it out from their closet and returned it with USED condition, the bottle was almost half. Thank god there was no expensive stuff in my car.

The service is great never had a problem there I would never go to the Splash in Hamden because their service sucks they treat their customers with no respect they are all assholes that work there even the lube area when you go to get your oil change they have no respect for the customers or for you they are extremely rude I would not recommend nobody to ever go to the Splash location in Hamden if you want some service done go to Splash and Amity you would be so much happier and you will be treated with respect

The manager was very nice but when they scratched my truck in front and on the side .i went down the next day (winter time so the truck was dirty again not there fault)a guy was trying to buff out the scrathes with dirt on the truck and just made a mess out of it .itook it to a body shop and had it done professionally.i will not go back there again.

There automatic machine scratched up my paint job. And the two guys that was supposed to dry my car with towels. They did a half-ass job because I did not get out of my car and tip them. So when I got out and looked at my car they were still water dripping all over it that they did not dry. And they wonder why I didnt tip them.

Amazing experience! I had a Five Star detail done today and the service was impeccable. They thoroughly cleaned all of the areas I was concerned about because they took the time to listen and care. I will recommend this service to everyone.

Like all Splash car washes the job they do is only as good as the amount of workers they have finishing your car at the end. Best to go when you see 4 or 5 guys outsude at the end of the car wash as you go by.

Ive been a customer of this wash for a while and now that theyve added new free vacuums and unlimited washes for a month at just $15 I find myself coming to get my car looking clean that much more!
