Probably the worst service Ive ever received from a company, that is supposedly " customer oriented!!" After waiting 2 hours for someone to get back to me, I called them back. Why I chased them, I still havent figured that out!! At that point, I was told " April, who is the manager, is still on a call, and Ill put you on hold for a minute!" Twelve minutes later, I hung up, and then April called me immediately and said " she just got off the phone, from handling a problem!!" She then proceeded to argue about why she didnt call right away!! Really?? Im not really sure where the " customer service" was here, but Newington Electric, is definitely not the only electrician in town. Maybe they should find a manager, who truly understands the true value of a customer, because April, surely does not. Look around, I did and got treated a lot better elsewhere. i had to give them at least 1 star to post, but they did deserve even that!!!!!!

To comment to the most recent review from Tom r I am the manager of the company I do the best to return every call in a timely manner unfortunately I was tied up in a meeting and immediately returning to my desk I was on a call which lasted about a half hour due to an elderly couple that had no power . This to me was an emergency which was being handled first after ending my emergency call I immediately called Tom back who didnt even let me talk to him after I tried to apologize for waiting for my call henbasically hung up on me the phone call back to him was less than two hours and I would have sent someone immediately to his house to look at a light fixture I was doing my best to handle the emergency first just remember there are two sides to every story and sometimes people have bad days I will always do my best to make customers happy

These guys swindled my elderly mother. I called on behalf of her and enquired about their rates, after calling a number of other electricians in the area I found that I could have gotten the work done for less than half what this place charged. A few days later they showed up unannounced at my mothers house claiming that an appointment had been made and fooled her into accepting their high rates. Scum.

Below average customer service, very rude electrician, slow service, expensive ( which wouldnt be a problem if my experience with this company was good), left the house a mess ( i guess that carrying a small vacum ( or ask for one) is too much to fit in their trucks). Will DEFINITELY never call again or refer to anyone.

Needed a could of things done and had a no power situation at one light fixture. The gentleman that showed up at my house was great. Found the problem quickly and made the necessary repairs and brought it up to code. Would definitely use them again.
