I disagree with other posts, there has been new management since then. My daughter has been going to Busy Bodies since she was an infant & is now 3. The location was convenient & I received a recommendation from another parent/friend. BB is priced well & teachers are hardworking, dedicated & caring. I am a first-time working mom & leaving my child in daycare was not an easy decision. The infant room-though not stocked with the most recent, updated toys & things-is well laid out & the caregivers attentive & sweet to the babies. They understand infants & provide good care. The toddler room teachers are fun, caring & attentive to the needs of toddlers & taught my child many things, using utensils, counting, sharing, etc. 2s teachers are stellar, down to earth, caring & firm with the kids; they do not coddle but give the children lots of freedom to express themselves, while challenging them with activities, art & other necessary growth & milestone-type of activities. I find my child to be above average (what parent doesnt?) & they continue to challenge her in many beneficial ways. Another family member sends their child to Busy Bodies & seeing my child & their child flourish is very satisfying. Staff is hardworking & dedicated & I highly recommend BBs.

I sent my child here briefly and would not recommend it. The staff is more interested in discussing what they did over the weekend than remaining involved in the childrens activities. I observed the children playing kissing games for the staffs amusement, climbing up and over the outdoor fences, and some of the staff are physically unable to pick up the babies they are charged with caring for. In addition I found the management rather inflexible and unattentive to the needs and concerns of the parents. I hope to save other parents and children the difficulty of getting used to a place and then having to start all over somewhere else. Youre better off avoiding this one. You have to leave a star to fill out this form but i dont think they deserve even that one.

My daughter attended Busy Bodies for several months. She was left unattended, the doors were left unlocked, and the staff was negligent and concerned about issues other than the welfare of the children. After I became aware of the less than ideal situations that I was leaving my daughter in everyday, I quickly withdrew her. Please do not send your children to Busy Bodies of Norwalk.
