Ive been a loyal customer of this spa for over 8 years. Ive always had a good experience with the services and staff...until recently. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and our pregnancy by getting a couples massage. The massages were amazing. Afterwards, since we were all greased up and going to dinner afterwards, I asked if we could rinse off which was always an amenity offered to us whenever we had massages there. The manager, Lisa R., gave us an attitude but we were still given towels. Since she gave us an attitude, we rinsed off as quickly as we could since we knew they were closing soon and thought maybe that was why she gave us an attitude. My husband finished getting ready first and waited for me in the lobby. As he was waiting, Lisa R. preceded to trash talk us and made some very rude comments (referred to me as a trophy wife and said "This isnt the f$%king YMCA) to another an employee, unaware my husband was sitting less than 7 feet from the reception desk. The other employee Lisa R. was talking to, knew my husband was in the lobby as they made eye contact when he walked by the desk. Perhaps she let Lisa R. say what she said on purpose but after she made the comment about it not being the f$%king YMCA, they started whispering. I walked out into the lobby and Lisa R. walked us to the door to say goodbye. She was complimenting me up and down about how I looked and asked where we were going to dinner. My husband acted like he didnt hear a thing to Lisa R. but as soon as we got into the car, he told me everything. I was really upset but how unprofessional, phony and tactless this Lisa R. had acted. If youre going to have such obnoxious opinions about people, at least wait until the people have left the building. Lisa R. is in the hospitality industry. Her job is to make people feel pampered, relaxed. Not only that, she was showing another employee that its acceptable to her to trash talk clients while they are still in the building. The whole experience put a damper on our dinner. I called and asked to speak to the owner, Laura J. the following week. I left two messages and one day, Lisa R., calls me and says that she sees that Im trying to contact the owner. She wants to know if she can help me instead. I was appalled by the fact that she would call me. I felt she was trying to intercept the messages as to not get in trouble. I told her to never call me again and to have the owner call me. The owner finally calls me back the next day and leaves me a message saying that shes busy with appointments and if I need assistance, to contact her manager, Lisa R. I called the owner back and left her a message describing what happened and that I would not be returning as I didnt feel comfortable going back knowing that her manager treats her clients this way. The owner never called me back to get more information nor to apologize. The owner must think this behavior is acceptable. Unless Lisa R. intercepted the voicemail and deleted it. Either way, the owner lost a loyal customer, not over poor services but the poor, unprofessional attitude of her manager. Very sad.

Had the most wonderful experience at this spa last week with a friend. The staff there were remarkable and went above and beyond in quality of service and professionalism. We almost didnt go based on the poor review someone had given but word of mouth through friends indicated it was a bogus review. Sure enough, the spa is beautiful for starters, actually the nicest I have seen, impeccable cleanliness and our facials and pedicures were truly the finest we have ever received and Ive been to a LOT of spas! We will definitely return here, the manager couldnt have been nicer and they even serve a complimentary glass of wine when you check in! Thanks to all the staff for making this a lovely birthday weekend experience, we shall return!!

This is an absolutely beautiful spa and the staff not to mention the services are second to none! I live in Greenwich and a friend said this spa was far superior to any of our spas here in the area so I and a girlfriend gave it a try! Elegant, excellence and award winning to sum it all up. We will definitely be back, our facials were the best weve ever had as were the pedicures and massages. I even had Laura the RN there for Botox and she did some juvederm to plump my cheeks and lips. They look the BEST theyve ever looked!!! Really nice front desk and the owner went out of her way to spend time with us and just to check in! Thank you again, love you guys, we will be back!

Amazing! A+! Chrissy did my daughters hair, makeup, and nails for prom, and we couldnt be happier! She made it look like my daughter has tons of hair even though she only has a long bob (just about shoulder length). The up-do and makeup were done exactly as my daughter wanted and lasted the whole night. Chrissy listened to what my daughter had to say and encouraged her to give input throughout the entire process to make sure it was going in the direction she wanted. Chrissy is super sweet and made my daughter very comfortable from the start. I really cant say enough about the phenomenal job Chrissy did!

Had a wonderful experience there about 6 months ago, went back with 3 friends last weekend and it was even better if thats possible. The massages and manicures, pedicures were outstanding and the owner (Lora) made it a point to come by to inquire on how our services were! Great staff and excellent customer service, hands down one of the best spas on the east coast!

What a wonderful place, definitely refilled my mindody and Gina knew just what i needed. My facial was fantastic, she also recommened great products without trying to oversell me. I would highly recommend the treatment at Somers Day Spa and Ginas service.

Best birthday present I ever got was a gift certificate for a spa day here. Top notch place. Massage was heavenly, pedicure was great and we even got champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Customer service was top-notch.
