I will start by saying that I got married last weekend and scheduled for all of my girls and myself to get our hair/makeup done here. Everyones hair looked fantastic, however I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS SALON AGAIN! While our hair looked great, my makeup was HORRIFIC. I asked for subtle green/gold tones and got thick eyeliner, fake eyelashes, penciled in eyebrows, smokey eyes and foundation that was well over 2 shades darker than my natural skin tone / neck. I WAS FURIOUS! I commented several times that it was too much and the womans response was, "Oh baby, you look beautiful!" Fine, whatever, its my wedding day and I"m not going to fight over this, Im just going to go home, wash my face, and do all my makeup myself which is what I did. The worst part, however was the outrageous prices. When we called to make the appointments we were quoted at $45 for blowout/style, $65 for up-dos and $45 for makeup. They asked for 50% deposit (which was annoying because they wanted it for everyone on 1 credit card) using these prices. When we checked out, I was told that all of the blow outs would be $50 and the updos $75. I was upset, but the girls just wanted to pay and leave so we did. Then, I was quoted at $250 for me alone! I lost it and asked for the breakdown. They charged me $125 for my hair, $15 for waxing my eyebrows (which I did NOT ask her to do, she just did it before my makeup and I assumed that it was part of the price) $25 for fake eyelashes (which I did NOT ask for either and promptly ripped off because I looked like a drag queen!) and then $85 for makeup. THOSE PRICES ARE NOT ONLY INSANE, BUT NO WHERE NEAR WHAT WAS QUOTED! They told me that they spend more time on the bride, so it costs more. I will NEVER set foot in that place again; I feel robbed! Overall, I spent $250 to have my hair curled and eyebrows waxed. I cant express how angry I am in this review, so Ill end it here. Bottom line: make sure you have your prices in writing and ask if there is an additional cost for ANYTHING they may do

Do not go here. I went for a consult with a picture to make sure that what I wanted could be done;it was simply a few painted on blonde balayage highlights leaving the rest of my hair untouched in order to avoid maintenance. After 6 hours and $250, I left platinum blonde almost to the root. I went back for a correction to darken the roots and was told that using a glaze that had no red tones it in we could achieve what I originally wanted. I now have brassy orange at the root that Im hoping will wash out soon as it was a glaze. Do yourself a favor and go to a skilled salon.

Posh Salon is the ONLY salon Ive gone to for past 5 years. The owner is wonderful, accommodating, kind and has a wonderful personality!!! The entire staff is great! Every one is always pleasant! Everything Ive done, whether it be my nails, hair or waxing, has been a great experience! My girls even go there. They dont want anyone else to do their hair! If you need a salon, even in a pinch, I highly recommend Posh!
