I purchased a Black Memebership (the most expensive one) in 2015. I have no complaints about the gym itself as I never had to wait for a treadmill and the facility is clean. My major complaint is how my membership was handled by staff after I suffered a three month illness this summer. I was in and out of three hospitals and was unable to work for three months. When I was able to return to work and the gym to start my path to healing, my doctor wrote a note explaining my illness. I was told my a staff member that in order to freeze my membership it had to be done when I got sick and indicated it was on my contract. I explained that was not possible due to my circumstances and would an exception be made and I was just told "sorry". I then went back to cancel my membership which I really did not want to do and spoke to another staff member who was a bit more sympathetic. She made a copy of my medical note and said a manager would call me......that was three days ago. It is very disappointing that a business that is supposed to promote health could not accommodate my circumstance (and probably countless other peoples circumstances too) due to and unforeseen illness. When a person is sick and battling a disease, they are not thinking about the fine line of their Planet Fitness contract!

In the last year, lockers have been broken into on at least two occasions that I know of - including mine. Both times were at peak periods, around 6 to 7pm. Whoever broke into the lockers used bolt cutters on mine! One of the busiest locker rooms in Stamford and no one saw anything? Management didnt even offer me a free new lock, or maybe pay a months membership for my trouble. So carry your valuables with you, a locked locker isnt even safe. As for other things, the floors in the mens locker room are always wet, so wear flip-flops, and the bathroom constantly smells! Forget the judgment-free crap, looks like you NEED a gym body to be seen here. Mostly Latino crowd here. Packed right after work and hard to find parking. Forget about it after New Years, you spend as much time trying to park as you do working out. And by the way, its a poorly lit parking lot - dont leave valuables in your car either! Staff is friendly, machines and weights are okay, but this is definitely the worst gym Ive ever joined.

Ive been going this gym for a quite a while and have been satisfied with it for the price. They could use more machines however since it seems like Im always waiting for the one i want. Another issue i have with the place is the clientele and how they treat the equipment like toys. Its like a circus sometimes with the crazy ways they use the machines. Ive seen a guy hanging on one one time, the staff should walk around and make sure the machines are being used as intended. That being said, the staff is very nice and friendly.

Great gym! This is probably the best Planet Fitness Ive ever been to, no kidding.. Its more spacious than most PFs, they have all the usual PF equipment, but then also have a really good free-weight area - not something you usually find at PF. My only criticism is the location (next to a sewage treatment plant) so its not exactly a breath of fresh air when you walk outside. Plus a Squat Rack, heavy bag and speed bag wouldnt hurt, but then we ARE talking about a Planet Fitness, after all.

It is very clean, the equipment is kept nice, and the staff is lovely. However, it gets crazy busy on weekdays around 5. Literally there is not one machine free. The location is not the nicest, and I have gotten things stolen before (North Face Jacket and cell phone) in the locker room. Keep your valuables locked! What do you expect the clientele to be like when it costs only 10 dollars a month?

The absolute worst gym I have ever joined. Zero motivation in this place. the music is terrible. the equipment is a joke. the staff are useless and only talk about policy. stay far away from any of these "gyms" if you can call them gyms. this place isnt worth $10 a month. just awful!

Its off the beaten path with lots of parking and easily access. There are ample bikes, treadmills and stair climbers at the gym. There are many exercise machines to choose from. There locker rooms are clean and there is an endless supply of tootsie rolls.

Car was broken into. They stole my girlfriends louis vuitton. Staff didnt seam to care. Very unsafe location. I should have known its next door to the stamford dump! Believe it or not it smelled worse inside then out. Dont go.

Just joined recently. Staff are very nice; facility is new and machines seem to be in good shape; ladies room dirty, front of building unsightly. Come on folks - keep this nice new facility clean!

Not happy with the presentation of gym, very desorganized on the accommodation of the few new workout machines. They dont have private area for females to do floor workout :-(
