Bargain Beauty

Went for an oil change this morning. The inside of Plantinum is so dirty Its really sad as it looks like at one point they really cared about making the interior comfortable for those waiting. They just opened so there was honestly no excuse. Garbage on the floor the coffee bar was a mess it looked like they are literally on the last leg to closing. The part where they detail you can see from waiting area made it look like a dumping ground for whatever they want to throw in there. It is sad it didnt make me want to get my car detailed. No sticker was put in the car for the next oil change the air pressure was supposed to be checked my light didnt go off that indicates they are low. So I will take it to a gas station and do it. The oil guys were nice it just felt dirty and unorganized. Sorry but it did. I dont expect it to be spotless its a garage type place but yeah please clean up in there. Makes me sad to see how much effort was put In at one time but its not being kept up.

I drove in this morning because my car was way overdue for a wash. (I work on construction sites and it gets very dusty) I was greeted by a few guys and I asked for the best full service wash possible, which cost me 22 dollars. This would be a fair price if my car were properly cleaned. My white rims still have all kinds of dirt on them which I wiped off with a rag when I got home. The roof of my car is still completely covered in dust spots, parts of my door cards werent cleaned at all, and my vents were just brushed over with a rag. I paid good money for this service, and i expected the extra mile. It seems like these guys were in a huge rush for some reason, and they didnt take the time to do it right. Quality is more important than quantity, needless to say I will not be taking either of my cars here, and I will try to steer business away from them. The only reason for the second star is because the waiting area was nice.

I was there on a very busy day. I had spent $29 for a car wash, vacuum, windows and interior wiped down. I understand when its busy you need to push people through so as not to get backed up, but it should not compromise the quality of the service. I actually had to redo my windows because there were water spots smeared all over. I had to wipe the door jams. I had to redo the tires and the front and back bumper. I also went home and finished drying the car. My car doesnt have that many nooks and crannies, it just seems that the water and soap only go on flat surfaces. I just dont think there is a good quality of service for that amount of money spent.

Horrible experiences past 3 or 4 times going. Switched to Valvoline in Torrington (awesome!) They screwed up my window regulator so bad (I guess the window is part of an oil change?!) that I had to have it replaced for $350!! They wouldnt admit they touched it and said it must have been a pre-existing issue, and the manager refused to speak with me or call me back!! Are you kidding me?! NEVER AGAIN! Plus, terrible customer service!

Everytime I go there and get my oil changed I have a bad experience. Very little customer service skills, they all have bad attitudes. They put the wrong oil in my car and then tried to make me pay full price. They called me "this dude" and continually shook their heads in disgust when they had to drain and refill my car. I have gone there multiple times and things dont ever change.

I have been going to this place for the past 2 years and am always pleased with the service I receive. The service is fast and I have never had a problem. I realize the price is a little high, but with the comfy waiting room, the friendly staff and my car rolling out looking shiny and new, Im not complaining! You get what you pay for.

This place is a complete rip off, they will overcharge you by about 10 bucks for an oil change. Then try to add on a couple hundred bucks worth of work that might need to be done but is really not pressing or necessary. Only go here if you like being ripped and high pressure sales.

I have been using Platinum Car Wash for years. When my kids were little it was very convenient and they loved the play area. They had fun watching the cars being washed. They always get me in and finished in a timely manor. Love my coupons I receive in my email every so often.

Terrible mechanic at one end of the shop who cant put on an oil filter right. 2010 Chevy 1500. Considering reimbursement for wear and tear to our vehicle. Never had an issue till now. This happend about a week ago just now getting to write about it.

I subscribed to unlimited gold washes and brought my car there at least 2 times a week. My car was so clean every time that it looked/felt like I drove it off the lot brand new every time I left the car wash. I definitely recommend them 100%

Drive from NYC to Danbury 5 days a week for work so you can imagine my White 2008 Audi A4 gets pretty dirty. These guys at Platinum get my car looking sparkly clean every week. Great workers and great wash!
