i had been bringing my work truck for oil change tire rotation and had no problems. brought my personal truck with a check engine light on,was told spark plug #8 was a mis fire, gave them the go ahead to replace,was told the plug was broken[ i believe it was broken upon extraction, which i found on line to be common] they replaced the plug and the misfire was still there. wanted to keep truck over weekend to do a compression test [ they did not have the equipment to do this test.] i told them no , that i would be coming to get my truck. heres the good part, charged me $45.44 for a spack plug i found online for $17.95 charged me $127.50 to remove spark plug and install new one.charged me $59.90 for diagnostic time. and the topper $13.97 for shop supplies. for a grand total of $246.81.the sad part, the truck ran the same as when i brought it in. good bye meineke!

I didnt plan on coming here, but after my power window motor broke and I had a terrible experience at the Pep Boys near my work in NJ, I came on a whim. Pep Boys wouldnt even LOOK at my car during my appointment even because their mechanics were leaving for the day (and yet they still scheduled me for that time). The guys at Meineke told me what was wrong with my car as soon as I finished my sentence. They scheduled me for an appointment first thing the next day and I was in and out of there within 90 minutes. I 1000% recommend this Meineke for any repairs you need.

I was searching for a place to do a custom exhaust on my 1968 Camaro so I stopped in to check this place out. Within 2 minutes of talking to the owner about my job I was ready to run out the door. The guy was super cocky but had no idea what he was talking about. I looked in the shop and saw no signs of anybody welding or bending any piping. I decided not to use them thankfully because two weeks later I met a guy at a car show who had them do his car and saw a hack job at best. From the way I was treated I wouldnt recommend going there.

Had an appointment for noon. Car didnt go in the bay for 40 minutes after arriving. Then would watch the mechanics periodically work on my car for the next two hours only to find out they dont have the right parts for my car. It then took forever for them to track down said parts. A quick brake fix and oil change has taken more than 4 hours and made me late for work. Never again Meineke in Claymont! I thought I was doing myself a favor avoiding the dealership. HUGE MISTAKE!

Completely overpriced, charging over $270 for a battery that I could have a dealer put in for $150. I called and told them I will never have any of my vehicles worked on there again due to their pricing. I was offered a couple oil changes for my distress. Their prices cost them 4 clients just from over charging me. Also didnt bother pointing out anything else that should be worked on for the safety of the car and driver. They should feel disgraced by their actions.

Terrible place. Please avoid. Seems they are running fraudulent business. Even no date or reference number is mentioned on their invoice. When asked about the same, owner pretends as if he does not know at all about how it works in their system. Simply ridiculous.

I called them to ask to know how much they charge of oil change and changing the battery for a my car they asked me the model and everything. Talked to me for 10 minutes but guy wont tell me the prciing for oil change or installing a battery.

I took my vehicle in to install chassis braces. After receiving extremely high estimates from several competitors, I got a very reasonable price and the install was done quickly as well. Great work!

Complete rip off. They sold me an air cabin filter for $30 lying that it regularly costs $40 and oil change for #29. Poor service. Made me wait for an hour when they promised 30mins initially.

These guys are outrageously over priced! They quoted me $80 to press a u joint into a driveshaft...a shop right up the road ended up doing it for $20.

I took my car care here once, they did fine work but didnt have the "personal touch" that they have over at Kens Aamco.
