I sincerely wish I could write this review with a smile on my face and memories full of joy. However, after our stay at 101 Swedes Street under the direction and maintenance of Coldwell Banker Resort Realty, I unfortunately must report this is not the reality. Our stay at this home was absolutely dreadful with a large list of faults. In this review, I will simply be shining light on a few of the numerous shortcomings all while including pictures. The nightmare began when we first arrived. After being in the home for 5 minutes the doorebell rang and it was an individual with the cleaning company Coldwell uses for their homes. The lady introduced herself as the supervisor and asked if the home was cleaned. Being there fore only 5 minutes, focusing much of our attention on unloading vehicles, getting the puppies out of the car after a long ride, and putting away groceries we did not have time to inspect the place. At first glance, however, it appeared clean so we reported it as such. However, after unpacking and living in the facility for the first day we started to notice how uncleanly it truly was. (It is important to note that this individual was not asking if it looked clean, she was asking if it was cleaned. As a supervisor of a cleaning company she should KNOW if a house was or wasn’t cleaned. We even asked her if they needed us to leave for a little so they could clean it if it was not clean, to which she responded there was no need, she was just “making sure it was clean”) ALL baseboards had dust on them, two of the bathrooms had hair around the toilet base, soap stains, water spots, and beard trimmings on the bathroom countertops, and in the shower hair in every corner along with sand. We promptly called Coldwell who came out and tidied up. However, after they did so, we continued to find things wrong with the facility. As our stay progressed we noticed PUBIC hair all over the bed cover, sand underneath that, as well as regular hair scattered throughout. Behind the bedside tables were piles of dirt and dog hair. Stains also littered the furniture. The list goes on. Beyond the cleanliness there was much damage to the property itself from whoever had stayed there in the past. Pictures are attached below of a few, not all problems. We called about a few of the problems including no toilet paper dispenser as it had been TORN off the wall in the past but no one came to fix it. Light switches were not working, shower knobs were put on on improperly causing difficulty to reach the appropriate temperature (had to turn the hot water heater up since the actual knobs couldn’t be turned enough to get the water hot enough), and broken shower door handles. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. I genuinely hope that you do whatever is in your power to remedy this situation, including and not limited to a partial refund. Until then, the review will remain 1 star. Wish I could give the facility 0.

Flew in from Park City and rented a house in Rehoboth Beach for my family to gather here, 10 in all. The house was outfitted to sleep 12, minus sheets which amazes me, but ill equipped for cooking etc. There were enough coffee mugs but the was it. No one came through the house before we arrived to make sure everything was in order. The toilets were moldy and the garbage disposal was broken. We had to wait to get it fixed before running the dish washer. There were only 4 outdoor chairs on the huge patio. Sleeps 12 with nowhere to sit outside. A property management company in Park City which managed a house similar to this would be out of business very quickly. I will not be using them again. Jack Lingo seems to have some very nice looking properties. I will look into them next time.

Well we paid in full for our property .It was the location we wanted and had 4 bedrooms. 1 month before we are to leave , we are told the place is not available . Apparently the owner did not do his upkeep -- No fault of ours - so even though we reserved it early to get everything we wanted, we are told sorry these are your choices : Dewey Beach or a 2 bedroom place - - I am totally totally disgusted --- I will never rent again threw Coldwell Banker . I cant believe they can do this but I guess they can.It wouldnt let me post unless I gave 1 star which I dont think they deserve

When we rented our place it clearly said internet. Needless to say we had to call numerous times to let them know that the internet and cable were not working only to find out the rental below us controlled it. When we arrived at our place it was filthy. We spent the first hour cleaning. The place was outdated and the furniture was worn out. I will never rent anything from Caldwell Banker. This was my first time and the last time.

We have used Coldwell Banker twice to rent in Rehoboth beach. Each time we have had issues with cleanliness and the lack of maintenance of their properties. Our last rental property was infested with roaches! Even though they moved us to a new property, that property too had issues. (Broken A/C and refrigerator) The whole experience ruined our vacation. We will never rent from them again.
