I was excited when I heard the Fuego truck was opening a brick & mortar joint. I wanted so much to like this place. But sadly, they have a long long way to go. We were the ONLY ones there, and it took 20 minutes to get our order of 2 different things (tacos and mofongo), and the corn. When the corn came out, it was so cold, it was actually was refrigerator cold. I dont think the guy even bothered warming it up from whenever they had previously cooked it. The Korean beef meat tasted good (albeit kind of dry) (turns out the only good thing out of our whole meal) but everything else comes in little individual plastic cups, --what a waste, especially since we were eating in-house. The things they need to give you more of they put in the little cups, and the stuff that doesnt taste very good, comes in the big cups. No wonder the prices are so high, theyre spending money on all of the disposables. The Mofongo was terrible, we counted 13 HUGE chunks of plantain , and it wasnt even seasoned well. (Each chunk was about a third or a half of a banana -- WHO can eat that much plantain at one time?) Nothing like any Mofongo I have ever eaten at any other establishment, here in the states or in Puerto Rico. Many of the toppings were such rough huge cuts, it was as if the guy didnt know how to chop with a knife. There were a handful of cupcakes in the case, but they looked to be about a week old. Lastly, we were not impressed with a hygiene of the guy who not only took our order but cooked the food. I wont go into details... :( but we lost our appetite. Again, I really wanted to like this place and see it succeed, but theyre going to need a LOT of help once the summer crowds come. And, they think theyre going to be able to deliver until 2 a.m.? Yeah, lets see how that goes...

As a local and one that enjoys trying new places (especially one that delivers)....I was not thrilled with Fuego...for the following reasons.. 1st) a $5.00 delivery charge for 6 blocks is a little unreasonable..if that be the case are we expected to tip the driver ?? 2nd) sending items in little cups and containers for me to assemble myself is again very unreasonable and for fuego it doesnt seem very cost effective... when I order delivery, Id like the meal to be ready to eat...I would never order a pizza if I would be expected to cook it myself... 3rd) as far as the meal itself, it was just ok...nothing to write home about...the rice was cold and the black beans were very runny..after waiting 43 minutes when told 20-25 (yes i always time it) I was just a little disappointed .. In conclusion , as I said, I was not excited but to give them the benefit of the doubt and will try Fuego one more time if they decrease or do away with the exuberent delivery fee especially for in town deliveries... All businesses here make a lot of money in the summer but most successful year-round businesses know that we locals can make or break ya... So sometime it pays to rework your numbers and know whos ordering from you... A local called "fin"

I have been there about 6 times since they have opened. I typically get the same dish every time, which I think is awesome. I got my family hooked on this place. I would have given them a 5 star, but the last time I went there, I had a sub-par order. The meat consistency wasnt right, and they seemed to be slamming the order together in a hurry, as you can kinda see them prepping it. They missed parts of the order, and they didnt put it in the main container, which Im not sure if that is a change they have implemented. I almost got the sense that they misplaced my call-in, so they were trying to put it together on the fly. I love this disk so I will give them another try.

I had one delicious lunch here and two aborted attempts. Supposedly opening at noon, I went once at 12:15 and two Saturdays later at 12:20, both times doors locked and lights off. Good to know they may be open at 3 am, two hours after the bars close but maybe helpful for the stoner set. Too bad, I wanted to like this place, but I give up.

Had the chicken tacos today. The pico de gallo was so fresh, the chicken is chunk breast that is so juicy and full of flavor. Also had a rice bowl with chicken, fried peppers and onions and of course their signature fuego sauce which is amazing. Open till 3 AM AND delivery to Dewey!!

Awesome place. Hands down the best Mexican food in Rehoboth, and one of my favorite Mexican restaurants anywhere. Every single thing Ive tried has been amazing. Staff is friendly. Food is thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommended.

Best tacos on the boardwalk! The taco deals come with perfect proportions and they give you 4 taco shells to assemble yourself, just how you like it! Great management and amazing service, family-owned. Youve gotta try it!

Items on menu not available (ground beef). Horrible service all around from cashier/cook. More interested in young dirty looking females looking for free food then paying customers. Third and final visit. What a JOKE!!

Employees do not wash hands. Tacos overpriced. Employees were acting very "shady". NOT a kid-friendly environment.
