We met Mr. & Mrs. Garvey at the Newark DE Home show and they seemed very professional and the reviews were good, so we made an appointment. Mrs. Garvey showed up at are new (4 yrs old) home and was very professional and we decided on a color and did a contract. The painters showed up on time but when the job was done. We noticed there was paint on the trim, cabinets, tile floor, and hardwood quarter round. The painters didnt caulk around the windows and there were areas on the wall that were not prepped, and the hardwood floor was covered in dust from prepping the walls. We did get in touch with Mr. & Mrs. Garvey and they came out to correct the issues. Mr. Garvey showed up with two painters and we had blue tape where areas needed to be fixed. Mr. Garvey left to go pick up some Microfiber towels for the hardwood and instructed the painters to wait on the hardwood floor cleaning. Unfortunately one of the painters went to his van and got a rag to wipe the floor with wood cleaner we provided. We had started to smell a strong turpentine/paint thinner smell that wasnt there when the painters first came in and it got stronger. I went to where the painter was wiping the hardwood floor and asked the painter if there was thinner in the rag and he said no. I then asked for the rag, smelled the rag and told him this has thinner. The painter then stated he used that rag earlier with thinner and said it was dried. I told him you cannot use turpentine/paint thinner on hardwood. Mr. Garvey arrived back and I told him about it and let him smell the rag. Mr. Garvey apologized, stated they have been working the painters hard, having them hurry on jobs and sent the painter to Lowes for cleaner and the painter returned with a couple different items.The painter used a Hardwood Floor Luster not a cleaner. After things were done we were just glad to have them leave. Mr. & Mrs.Garvey stated they use professional painters, sure not what we received. Will never used CertaPro Painters again.

During the past year I had CertaPrp Painters out twice. The first time was to paint the exterior of my home and was a result of seeing what a nice job they did on my neighbors homes. The estimate was responsible, the work was completed quickly and efficiently. They painted my trim, shutters, doors and garage door. Since they did such a nice job I had them return to do interior work. This project was far more extensive. I had wallpaper taken down in the hallway and foyer. The ceiling going up the stairway was very high. Some of the paper came down without problem but, in the areas where it was far more difficult, the walls had numerous blemishes. I was amazed at how good the surface of the walls were once the men skim coated and sanded them. It only took them a week to complete 4 bedrooms, a master bathroom hallway, foyer and the wainscoting. I am now looking forward to getting an estimate to do the interior of my home in Dewey. I found Jeff and all of the workers to be pleasant, professional and courteous. They not only do a good job with the project but the clean-up too. I have since recommended them to friends.

We contacted Certapro and had them do our estitmate over a month and half ago. We attempted to hire and have them work for us as we struggled to have them contact us back. They informed us that we would be scheduled for the end of July. We called numerous times to try to finalize a date only to be told people were out of the office and then that the EARLIEST they could get us in was August 21. This was the last straw. Not only is it highly unprofessional to not return anyones calls but to give dates that you can not keep.

I cannot say enough about CertaPro of Wilmington. We were new to the area and after having a few estimates done by other companies we chose CertaPro. We are so glad we did. Their painters were so clean and polite and the work was nothing shy of perfect. We will never look for painters again. We found them in CertaPro. Denise is just fantastic and takes care of everything. She is a real pro too. If anyone needs painting done, look no farther. This is the company to choose.
