I was recommended to Palmer Staffing and they were very proactive with my job process. They were very professional, friendly, and made sure to accommodate what opportunity best fits. I went through 2 interviews with them at a very well-known law firm and literally within a day after the second interview I was offered the position. I worked with Stephanie Schliftman, Beverley Segel, and Patrice Scott. Working with Stephanie was very delightful she contacted me every other day by email and phone to make sure things were going smoothly. They are very fast with getting you into their system. I was already getting emails about temporary positions while sitting there on the first day I walked in. I like that this staffing agency gives you the opportunity to test for government jobs. A lot of people have been looking for government jobs and this is the place you want to be. I have recommended at least 2 people to this agency! THEY ARE AWESOME! Just like looking for a job you have to constantly email and make sure you follow up. Staffing Agencies are very full, but when job searching you have to treat it like a Full time job in itself. Be PROACTIVE if you want to succeed.

As a Floridian moving to DC I knew the transition wasnt going to be easy, until I was introduced to Palmer Legal Staffing. This was my first introduction to a staffing firm and I didnt really know what to expect. My initial interaction was with Beverley, who assisted me every step of the way. She really listened to my needs and helped me maximize my time interviewing, while encouraging me every step of the way. She even went on vacation during some of my interviews and still made an effort to make sure I had all the information that I needed and most importantly felt comfortable. Her professionalism and caring demeanor truly helped the process go by fast and productively. I really dont know what I would have done without her and I will forever be grateful to her and Palmer Staffing. They truly do what is best for the candidate, as they only want to find the right fit for you and your specific needs. I would recommend this staffing firm to anybody who is looking for a boost in their job search. I would specifically recommend Beverley because I cant think of anyone better then her to assist you with this process.

Ive been associated with Palmer since 2003 after relocating to DC from Los Angeles, CA. From the very start, Patrice Scott was NOTHING SHORT of extremely profession and compassionate by not only making sure that I was prepared for every interview, whether for long or short term temporary positions, but she was also very direct and firm when selecting positions these positions. Whenever something came across her desk in which she felt I would not be a good fit (or vice versa) she would tell me, regardless of how badly I needed a job. Needless to say, with every assignment that I was given, I was able to walk away with LOADS of experience to add to my resume! The end result: I landed a position that is not only the best pay that Ive ever earned, but I would NEVER have been hired had I not acquired so much experience through my assignments with Palmer! I submitted my resume to the Palmer Legal Staffing Agency on a whim. I was extremely nervous due to my premature experience in the field that I worked which was adimistration. Despite the odds the staff, especially two in particular Patrice Scott and Stephanie Schliftman, worked with me and treated me as someone with all the experience and education in the world. Patrice walked me through every step from filling out tax forms to arriving to assignments. Stephanie always reached out and made sure that everything was in place once I arrived on site. I was referred for an assignment that, at the time, I could not accept but as soon as my schedule opened so did the employment doors. I was placed at a site that fit my liking and after a month and a half I was brought on permanently. Although my stint with Palmer Legal was short lived, I am beyond satisfied with the determination and consistency theyve displayed as well the overall service I was provided. Thanks Palmer Legal and a huge thank you to Patrice and Stephanie!

I mainly dealt with Patrice Scott, a senior recruiter at Palmer Legal Staffing. I came to Palmer as a college grad and had a lot of trouble finding full time and part time employment. Not just plain employment, but somewhere my skills can make a difference and contribute. Somewhere I can learn things and grow. She immediately saw my potential and threw many opportunities my way. At the lowest point of my post-graduate career, she was able to find me a permanent position at a prestigious law firm. It was a law firm that does a lot of hiring from within so I was actually able to move up in the law firm within a matter of less than a year, I was promoted to 3 different positions. Each one better than the last. I highly recommend using this service, especially to recent college grads. It is really tough out here and if you want to get ahead, this is the best way to get your foot into the door. And if you get Patrice as a recruiter, well then you are even luckier!

A good friend of mine referred me to Patrice Scott at Palmer Staffing Agency and a few months later -I was in a new position at a law firm. Patrice is very diligent and really puts her all into the tedious process of finding the appropriate position for each candidate. MUCH KUDOS to you Patrice, Karen, & Stephanie. Each of these ladies have expertise in effectively staffing candidates in government and private companies. My first offer to be a 2 week temp at a private company was the only offer I needed.... as a month later I was offered the full time position. I want to extend a special gratitude to Patrice Scott; as she worked closely to make sure I was staffed. I would definitely recommend this agency to ANYONE who is looking for permanent work. If you put in the short time, you will reap GREAT RESULTS w/ this agency. I cannot thank them enough.

My experience with Palmer Legal Staffing has been nothing short of amazing. I was referred to Beverley Segel by a friend who had recently been placed as a paralegal at a law firm in DC. I contacted Beverley, who responded almost immediately, and met with her that same week. Beverley and the rest of the staff I met at Palmer were incredibly professional and proactive, and I was set up on 2 interviews within a week of meeting with Beverley. I was soon after offered a full time position as a project assistant at a law firm and began working there a month later. Start to finish, Palmer was able to get me a job in less than two weeks. I am incredibly grateful for all of Beverleys help and couldnt be happier at my new position. I highly recommend Palmer Staffing Services to anyone who is considering using a recruiter and wants to find a position in the legal field quickly.
