Dear Ms. Vaughan, One of the first things my husband and I did when we moved to Florida in 1990 was to sign up for a Fast service contract, and I continued as a Fast customer for many years. When I had to replace my air-conditioning system in 2008, I removed it from the service contract as it was warrantied. And when Fast would no longer write service contracts without A/C coverage, I didnt renew, figuring Id stay on with the company that installed my Trane system. I came to regret that decision when my refrigerator developed a problem and I didnt have a clue whom to call. It sounds rather dramatic, but I literally felt helpless and out in the cold (no pun intended). Id taken for granted the one call I could always make to a local company that could be counted on to come and fix whatever needed fixing ... and do it fast! Needless to say, I came home to Fast ... and Ive felt safe and protected ever since. You might have heard this story, as you know my daughter Robin, who told me recently that you might appreciate receiving a note from me. Thank you so much for the company you lead. Your service people --- from the folks who answer your phones to the technicians who come to my home --- are courteous, personable and knowledgeable; I appreciate them all. Only one word - Outstanding! My water heater developed a leak last night and I was afraid it would rupture and flood six floors of condo units beneath me. I have used Fast of Florida for ten years so I immediately called them - Kenny came out around 8:00 pm - drained the heater, determined the problem - and allowed me to get a good night sleep. I had to leave town the next day around mid-morning, but Kenny was back first thing and had the new hot water heater put in by 10:00 AM. The company and their people are simply - outstanding! Our AC went out yesterday on a very warm south Florida day. The first two places I called didnt answer the phone. I found FAST of Florida on Google and gave them a call. The lady who answered my call was very polite and said they would have someone out before 5pm. Although it was a bit after 5 by the time they got here, the serviceman (Kevin F.) was very professional and knowledgeable. He narrowed down our issue quickly and identified and fixed the problem within the first 30 minutes he was here. AC fixed and house cooling again at a very reasonable $80. :)

The one star is simply because they answered the phone. Whom ever is responsible for answering the phone for service lacks all customer service skills. When I explained I was looking for an estimate, she insisted I wanted a service call and said it would cost $80. I repeated I only wanted an estimate right now and did not want any work done, still wanted to charge $80. I then explained I didnt want to pay the $80, I just want an estimate & she hung up on me.

Maureen called within minutes of our request for service, set up a service call inside of 30 minutes, and the service tech took his time in providing detailed causes for our troubles, as well as preventatives to keep it from happening again. I have used them 3 times - for electric and for plumbing. They answer the phone promptly. If you use them once, they keep your contact info so they know who you are. They send someone quickly - so far I have had same-day service after calling them in the morning. They have fixed all the problems with reasonable fees. They are my first option if a problem develops.

I spent my whole life in customer service so my expectations are probably higher than most. This company has figured it out to a "T". We have had a service contract with them for over 15 years and not a single time we were disappointed. This company goes beyond the call of duty, every, single, time . I could go on and on, but I am sure you "got the drift". WOW

Sending commendations re our recent FAST OF FL hot water service man. He interviewed me, listened well, examined tank, changed improper settings ..... Suggested we monitor. Would return for mixing valve if necessary. We are SCALDING and I am thrilled!! Why didnt I call sooner? This on top of many other instances of excellent service. !

Ive had FAST work on both the plumbing and air conditioning at my house. On every occasion, the service has been incredible - they arrive on time, their field staff is very knowledgeable and they even leave the work area spotless! I HIGHLY recommend FAST to anyone....and check out their service agreements to save some $$.

Fast, honest assessment of the AC problem, reasonable cost to repair - very good experience. Would call them again next time. A competitor blew it by trying to get my cc for a service contract before even sending someone out to assess the situation - with a 15% discount incentive. 15% discount from what? Brave to FAST.

This company is fast and manager satisfied our plumbing issues but girl working in customer service Is very rude and unprofessional. Hung up on us for asking to speak with a supervisor. Besides the customer service our plumbing issues were addressed.
