I have been a customer here for over 3 years and up until my last visit I have been very happy with them. I came in with the engine running poorly and they told me I needed a head gasket replacement for $1500. Though I dont advertise it especially to mechanics I have had quite a lot of experience fixing my own cars so I am not completely clueless. They have 2 new guys manning the desk in the service center and they are both con men from what I have experienced. I questioned the diagnosis and the guy who was serving me got a little pissy and started defending himself and telling me how much experience he has and so forth trying to prove to me that he would never push an unnecessary repair. Well, something stunk with what he was telling me so I left and went over to Autozone and asked them to run a code check on my car which they willingly did. The results were that I had a bad coil. The guy even installed it and the car now runs normally again. Before I left FAE I asked the service guy to run a code check after his diagnosis and he did, and told me nothing came up. I can only assume he was lying to me because of the results I got at Autozone. I am VERY disappointed after years of good and honest service to find this place has gone to the dogs. Over the years I have sent many people to them and had all my auto work done there. Obliviously, I no longer trust them and will have to go through the irritation of finding an honest mechanic. No small task these days. I know at least a couple of the actual mechanics there are probably still good, but I know the guy who diagnosed my car was new and I had never seen him before along with the service manager I spoke to. Im sure its possible that this was an isolated incident, but Im not willing to go back now. Beware!

I just had dropped my car off for an oil change. My first time here. I noticed when I out of my car that I also had a nail sticking out of my tire. Yikes! These guys took great care of my old car. The oil change was very affordable, and they were able to put a really good used tire on, since the other couldnt be patched up....also for a lot less than I expected to pay. Great customer service! I definitely recommend this place.
