What a joke. I went in for a Brazilian wax with a Groupon that was supposed to be $29. The esthetician was ridiculous. She was climbing all over the table, making me hold my skin and covering me in wax, and even asked me to go to the bathroom to cut my hair because it was "too long". Anyone who has been to a REAL waxing studio would know that is and should never be an issue, not to mention how rude and embarrassing it was. I left with my hands and privates covered in wax and patches of hair left from front to back! The woman at the front (manager?) asked how things went and I said that the service wasnt completed. Then she pretended she didnt know English and told me the facility has a MANDATORY $10 TIP. Wtf? I told her that was more than 30% gratuity and I didnt want to pay anything, let alone an undeserved tip, and in summary said something like, "Sorry, my receptionist isnt here and I dont speak good English. That is our policy." What a joke.

Salon texted me a few hours before my appointment telling me it had moved my appointment up and to be there early. I arrived early, but massage started about 15 minutes late. It was supposed to be a 90-minute massage but therapist stopped about halfway in -- and halfway done! She told me time was up (even though she hadnt done my legs yet). When I checked the time, she explained the receptionist had only written done a 50-minute massage and she couldnt do more because she had another appointment. The salon didnt refund my money. Instead, it suggested I buy another massage and theyd add time to the next one. Seriously? After an incomplete massage? Ill never go back.

Okay, so first of, I have to say that personally, as a guy, going to a spa would never have crossed my mind but my wife insisted I go for a facial. I went to the Coral Gables location for the facial, everyone was very reassuring and helpful, I felt very comfortable which was amazing because I was a nervous wreck. All the instructions were pretty easy to follow even for someone like me whose never been to a spa. I had been really stressed lately and having come here really did a 180 for me. I felt relaxed and tingly for THE WHOLE DAY! I loved it and cant wait to go back, no matter how embarrassing it may seem. Guys, you have no idea what youre missing out on

I ve been meaning to try this place for a while, just havent had the right opportunity to make it in. Ura Spa is a great place to go to if you need a massage. The staff was helpful and the atmosphere inviting. I had 90 minute massage, I went for a 60 minute massage, but it was so good I decided to go the full 90 mins deep tissue! As James brown would say "Wo! I feel good".....
