My wife and I chose this spa due to the convenience of it being in the Resort since were staying here. They were priced higher than other spas at $180. The massage itself was good, Ill start off with a positive. The atmosphere of the massage room was mediocre at best...no candles, aromatherapy, and you could hardly hear any relaxing music. They skimped on the oils and didnt use much at all, which created too much skin friction. To top all of this off, they charged a mandatory 20% gratuity which brought the total to almost $200. The problem is that they didnt tell us of this until after the massage. I believe it was an attempt of the masseuse to pad their pockets even though we already overpaid for the massage. DO NOT get a massage here unless you dont mind getting blindsided with extra fees and overpaying for a massage that you could get for much less somewhere else.

This is a great (yet affordable!) Spa in the Davenport area. I have been visiting Pam regularly for several services. She is very competent at everything she does and is very friendly and kind (and humorous too!) -- putting my mind at ease as soon I enter and even as I leave. I have had a positive experience every time I have been here -- since the beginning of this year. The Spa now has a website. There are a few errors in the webpages and the photography does not do justice to the place or the staff. An improved marketing/website design would bring out the true quality of this Salon and reach out to more folks interested in good Spa services. I highly recommend the place to anyone interested in a relaxing afternoon after a hectic day. Thanks "Ascencion Day Spa & Salon" and see you later !
