Cedric Felix aka Mike Cooley ( Dj Mike Cooley) CJ Party Rental & Event Planning 5061 FL-7 #612, Davie, FL 33314 Is t unprofessional and a conartist we made a deposit last year so that Mike Cooley could Dj are wedding which was 3/5/2016 but due to day light saving time we change the date to 6-25-2016 . We confirm that date with Dj Mike Cooley and asked did he have that date available he said yes no problem its done you have the date. Fast forward to June 2016 we kept calling Dj Mike Cooley all month even Inboxing him on Facebook there was no response from him . My wife kept calling him because it was days leading up to the wedding so she wanted to go over her play list and special dance to do at the wedding etc... He never responded back . Finally after calling for days the week before the wedding he pickup claiming hes so busy his phone not working. So I ask him to meet up with my wife on Thursday he said oh ok when Thursday came he never picked up the phone or called us back . Then few days be for the wedding he calls me in says oh you had a change of date and I booked a wedding on that same date dont worry I have your invoice you was here first so I will let the other wedding know that I cant do there wedding no worries you need to meet up with me at my place of business to go over everything about the wedding. So on Thursday June 23 ,2016 we meet at CJ Party Rental & Event Planning 5061 FL-7 #612, Davie, FL 33314 we had to sit there in wait until Dj Mike Cooley got off his first job. after sitting in the car for about 20 minutes Dj Mike Cooley pulled up and told us to follow him to the Dunkin Donuts in the same plaza were we meet his assistant another Dj ,there we talk about all the details to the wedding .what time to be there what type of music would be played etc... Then he throught I was going to pay him the balance right then in there in cash I said send the link to my email si I can pay you . He sent the link to my email but I didnt pay him through the link I made sure my wedding planner paid him in cash the day of the wedding to make sure he would show . In he did on June 25 , 2016 Cedric Felix aka Mike Cooley ( Dj Mike Cooley) was paid in full by my wedding planner he showed up set up everything after the ceremony has we were taking pictures outside the venue during cocktail hour Cedric Felix aka Mike Cooley ( Dj Mike Cooley) came to the front of the venue were he told me to stay clam its my day as I was talking pictures look mad . Fast forward bridal party line up for grand entrance in the reception as each person was walking in I can hear my wedding planner voice on the microphone not Cedric Felix aka Mike Cooley ( Dj Mike Cooley) voice thats when I knew something was wrong . We made are grand entrance And went in to the first dance the dance mixes was wrong and we were caught off guard so we had to play a long and just go with the flow were Cedric Felix aka Mike Cooley ( Dj Mike Cooley) was nowhere to be found . I ask the Dj that was there were is Cedric Felix aka Mike Cooley ( Dj Mike Cooley) he said Mike stepped out , thats when I realized Cedric Felix aka Mike Cooley ( Dj Mike Cooley) took are money and put a Dj that didnt no how to host or Dj a wedding at are wedding we had to tell him what to play when to play it .Cedric Felix aka Mike Cooley ( Dj Mike Cooley) was suppose to host and Dj are wedding thats why we booked him he took are money in left us high in dry he is unprofessional and a con artist who cheats people out of there money . Will be taken him to court for Breach of contract . Were he did not host or Dj are wedding like hired to do so .

HANDS DOWN THE ABSOLUTE WORSE; I really wish I would have trusted the previous reviews. Our wedding was an hour late, why? Because this GARBAGE DJ DIDN’T SHOW UP! Before our ceremony, we had issues, he sucks with communication; doesnt return messages or phone calls. He does expect full payment upfront, that’s the only time he communicates. We wanted to drop him in the beginning, but the best man assured us that he would be awesome. So we trusted him, the biggest mistake in my life! Months in advance we emailed him the change of venue, sequence of events, theme, do not playlist, and songs we wanted to be played. He ignored EVERYTHING! The day of everyone is waiting for him, and he calls at 4:30 (our wedding was supposed to begin at 4:30) asking where we were, and to top it off he asked if he was supposed to be doing the ceremony. Not only had we already asked him to play the music for the ceremony we paid him an additional $100; for him to ask us if he was even supposed to be doing the ceremony made us livid! Last minute our event planner downloaded the songs on her iPad. Fast forward to the reception, we wanted 90s music to be played and particular games; as previously stated we sent him everything. This jerk completely ignored us. He played several songs on our do not play list, none of the songs on our playlist, and he ran things the way he wanted them completely disregarding the games we wanted, and my husband had to remind him that it was 90’s music. I was beyond furious. After all of the crap he put us through, you would think he would be a little apologetic right? Nope, my husband called to ask what happened and to ask for our money back, and all he does is give us a thousand excuses, it was the weather, I didn’t get the information…blah blah blah. Not once did he open his mouth to say “I’m sorry”. What a total piece of crap! PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS GUY, HE’S HORRIBLE.

BEWARE!!!!! If you hire them to do your entire wedding just have a lawyer on standby!!! Im just going to list out the problems to make it simple... -Will try to have you pay in full upfront, RED FLAG!!! -Does NOT respond to emails/texts/phone calls and his voice mail stays full so you cant leave one. For those of you who will actually plan a wedding, you will learn that responsiveness from anyone you hire to help plan your day is CRUCIAL!!! If you hire CJ Party Rentals they WILL BE YOUR DOWNFALL!!! -PAID HIM to do the music for the wedding ceremony and to do the music for the reception. The DAY OF THE WEDDING he finally answers the phone and was completely shocked when asked if he was going to be on time for the ceremony -He went to the wrong venue because he never read my emails. Completely missed the ceremony. By the grace of the creator found another audio guy who was able to do the music for the ceremony. -My wife and I are very detailed oriented so we made sure all our vendors had all the info they needed well in advance (to include "DJ" Mike Cooley). -We asked for 90s themed music, he played todays hits. -We sent him a list of songs we DID NOT want played (whip nae nae, do the Quan, etc.) and guess what, he played em! -We asked to play specific wedding games (all in the emails I sent months in advance), he completely disregarded our requests and tried to play the games he wanted to. You would think after all of that, that wed get some type of apology or something, right? Nope! Just a bunch of excuses. And even had to hound him to get a refund for him missing the ceremony. Hiring DJ Mike Cooley was the ONLY REGRETFUL aspect to what wouldve been an otherwise perfect day. #teamdashwedding
