Im one of those guys that like to learn everything I can about different components before I contact a contractor for a job. Then I pretend that I know absolutely nothing to see who the honest contractors are that are worthy of my business. I can tell you Paul Bange is as dishonest as it gets. I had a roof leak over my garage. So I read up on everything there is to know about roof installation before I contacted several contractors that had good reviews from my area. When the rep from Paul Bange came he peeked into my attic for about 25 seconds, came down and recommended that I replace that whole section of my roof. I guess since I seemed like I didnt know anything he felt he could legally steal from me. He quoted me a "bargain price" of $6,000. When I said "wow really? I cant believe that I have to do that. Thats expensive." His response was laughable he said "dont worry, we will do an excellent job. And we are licensed and insured!" I almost wanted to laugh at that response. He must have really thought he was dealing with a fool because almost all roofing contractors have those two qualities. So of course I never called them back. Just so this company cant even refute what a rip off this price is, I will give you details and a quote from another reputable and honest company who recommended the same solution. Accounting for the pitch of my hip roof, the surface area that he recommended to be reroofed is approximately 518 sq feet. The other highly rated company quoted me only $3,000 for the same job. That means Paul Bange was overcharging by $3,000 for the same job! In case you’re wondering I got a repair quote from a very honest guy in the range of $750-$1500 depending on what he needed to do after the tiles were pulled off. He ended up charging me only $750 and gave me a warranty. This was back in 2011 and my roof hasn’t leaked since then. If I went with paul bange, I would have been out an extra $5250!! DO NOT do business with them. Will they do a good job? Maybe. But do you want to be ripped off for a quality roof work or would you rather go with an honest company who will do a good job for a fair price? I think the answer is obvious.

What can I say!!!! This is a class act organization! My mom had a serious roof leak Sunday afternoon. I called Paul Bange and got the switch board and once they heard the seriousness of our situation they had Steve Bates call me back immediately and after my conversation with him he arrived within the hour! He was in shock and awe of the interior but the real shock came when he got on the roof and saw we had a pool of over 5000 pounds of water sitting on the roof. He called me immediately and had us evacuate the house as the roof was in danger of collapsing. He then found the problem drained the water off the roof documented the issue by video so we had something to show the insurance company and gave us good advice and a detailed account of why this happened. The kicker is he did not take a penny for this even though we tried. Its not everyday you find a company that cares as much as Steve and Paul Bange roofing. Thank you so much for you quick response friendly attitude and most of all your help! Dont think twice when calling these guys they are a real class act and I will not hesitate to recommend them to all my friends and family!

Call for a estimate for an specific area, the PAUL BANGE inpector go to the roof inspect all the roof but the area in question, not even open the area or refused to see the pictures, them declare the my roof have more that 20 years, that I need a new roof and do not look the area in question that I request to inspect, IS A VERY GOOD TACTICS TO MAKE ME PURCHASE A NEW ROOF. I purchased this house not even 9 month a go and went to three inpections, and they declared the roof have at least 7 yeas more of life. I know my roof need to be replace eventually, but what I request specific was a repair I do not like this kind of approach to do business, "IS ALL OR NOTHING GO AND GET A HAMMER COMPANY, MINE DONT DO THAT". They know who I am, or not is if they destroy the estimate that also refuse to leave because my unhappiness of his approach. Is not my old roof, is the attitude of provide services as requested not as this company preference to make more money. If I can give negative stars I will.

Jimmy quoted a 3 layer roof on a large 4 unit building. He answered all my questions and kept in contact throughout the job. There were a few small hiccups during installation that were immediately taken care of. Something they offered that no other company of the 6 I received estimates from offered was a lifetime warranty contract. For $30 per month, they inspect and take pictures once a year, repairing any areas in need of repair. Even better, when the roof needs replaced, the replacement is covered as well. It doesnt cover hurricane damage, thats what homeowners and windstorm insurance is for. Still a fair price for peace of mind, timely inspections and repairs, and roof replacement when it finally needs it.

called the office and set up an appointment to have my roof repaired for my tenant. they came out promptly and promised to have an estimate to me via email, and if I agreed to the price it would be fixed within 3 days. Sounded perfect to me. No one ever called or emailed me, and just left me hanging. I really couldnt waste anymore time in getting it repaired since it was for my tenant...so I had to use someone else. Its a shame..I was hoping to development a relationship with this company because I have several properties and needed a good reliable roofer. But they were not reliable.

I had Paul Bange redo my roof several years ago. They installed about 20% of the roof in Aluminum standing seam and 80% in a built up roof, both highly insulated. They had very competitive pricing. They made two errors in initially installing the roof, both fairly large. BUT, they came back out and made it right at no further cost to me. In the ensuing few years I have had no problems with the roof, a lot of complements on the appearance of the roof and a much lower FPL bill. Plus my wind insurance went down significantly. I highly recommend them as a roofing contractor.

I deal with property management and I can recognize a well-run company. I used Paul Bange to re-roof our home (tile and skylights) and was more than pleased with the work. They were professional, clean, exacting and went the extra mile for our house. Just as important as a price (often more) is dealing with a company that has been here locally and will be here when you need them later. I give them FIVE STARS.
