The prices are good. $50 sew-in is excellent considering the stylist does a good job. However the "a la carte" pricing based on each service rendered diminishes morale. Usually if you ask to get a wash and set or color service, a salon would give you a set price. But here, they want to know is “… the color permanent? Semi-permanent? How many packs of hair do you have installed? Highlights? Lowlights?” And your answer to these questions determine the price increase. To be honest, I could probably deal with this if the scheduling was more professional and I was guaranteed to get in and out in a deliberate amount of time.

This salon is receiving only 2 stars due to the terrible appointment organization. I came in for an appointment at 5, didn’t get in the chair until 6. In addition, I saw other people waiting to be helped upwards of 2 hours. People left and came back, and still had to wait. They currently only have one person that can do sew ins, so if you do make an appointment, try to be the first customer of the day. They give discounts for writing a positive review. So I hope I get that!

I was so excited to get my brazillian knots done at EBK! I had been looking for a easy hairstyle that would allow my scalp to breathe and allow my hair to look natural and beautiful. I found out about Kobe, talked to her, and she then recommended the brazillian knots. So I traveled all the way from west palm beach to jacksonville to get them done, And she was right! The hair that she chose for me was a perfect texture and color match for my hair. The quality of the hair was amazing. The knots were beautifully done and my hair looked so natural it was scary! I loved the fact that I could wash my hair, deep condition it, oil my scalp, perm my edges and dye my hair and all with the knots still in. Its like the brazillian knots werent even there. Anything I wanted to do to my hair I could! High pony tails, low pony tails, middle parts, side parts whatever my heart desired. And because I let my stylist perm my edges twice, I actually kept the knots in for 4 months! I took them out and used the hair again for some micros that summer! I loved this style and cant wait to get them done again!!! Thanks KOBE!!!

I had a horrible experience. I had a 3:30 appointment i didn’t get in the chair until well after 4. I went to get a relaxer and a trim the girl had no idea what she was doing she didn’t section my hair off to do the perm and then when she was half way through my head she tried to comb the perm through. When she trimmed my hair she had me sitting in the chair where they wash your hair the chair is slanted so my hair is not going to be cut evenly. I wanted my hair just blow dried and straitened. Instead she wrapped my hair and set me under the dryer I don’t like this method because it takes way too long to dry my hair which it took almost two hours. After I was done my relaxer didn’t even take all the way so in 3 weeks I will have to get another relaxer. I only came here because salon PK my usual salon was booked. It took her almost 4 hours to do a relaxer a trim and styleI have never went anywhere and it take that long. I will say this she did do a good sew in on a woman but if your going for anything else please be AWARE.

My first visit to EBK salon was awesome. I was a little optimistic about getting the micro link sew in, but Kobe was very helpful and attentive as she answered all my questions. By the time I finished with my questions and the answers I received from Kobe I was so ready for my new hairdo. When I arrived for my appointment I could feel the kindness and welcoming atmosphere in the shop. The shop is very comfortable and the color scheme is beautiful. The price I paid for my micro link sew in was reasonable and I have received so many compliments that a few guys have stop to ask questions about my hair. Its so versatile I can wear it down or a high ponytail with ease or any other way just as if it was all my own hair. I would recommend to all ladies if you are looking for a new look that awesome you better call Kobe at EBK Salon!!!!

the poor service I received at Ebk salon as a first time customer. I had a appointment schedule at 5 did not get in the chair till about almost 7. When I got in the chair my hair was rushed by the hair stylist San because apparently she wanted to get ready to go out. Along with her rushing, thread was being pulled from my head across the room while she was speaking to someone out the door, also the braids were so tight it caused my edges to fall out leaving me with 2 balled patches on the front of my head. I think she needs to be taught better on customer service cause rushing a client, eating and talking on the phone is not it. It was a bad experience and I will never return.

After my second experience, I havent been back. My first visit was very nice. The gentleman that styled my hair was professional. I was so pleased with first outcome, I was eager to book a second visit. Now, heres the problem, I scheduled my appointment online, on a Monday, I was just going by the sign on the door. I didnt know they were closed on Monday, until I went for my appointment and waited there, no one ever showed up. I called the owner repeatably, I was then met with unprofessionalism and rudeness. Long story short, I got my hair styled again, a sew in, very unsatisfied next go around. For the prices being charged, the service needs to be stellar.

After years of eyebrow waxing and plucking, my brow hair follicles seemed to never grow anymore. After seeing Kobe Ellis on News4Jax segment doing Brow Threading i decided to try it, and temporary brow tatttoo which last 2 weeks. Kobe has been my Brow and Lash lady for roughly 4years. NOW Kobe has introduced me to Microblading 3D Brow Embroidery that last 2-3years. She knows how i LOVE for my brows to be PERECT at all times! And Kobe KNEW this enhancement was for me. I AM IN LOVE, i cant stay out the mirror smiling. It looks like i have brow hair now!...HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRYING IT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!..Thanks again Kobe Ellis!

My first visit to EBK salon was on March 30th 2012. I had the $50.00 sew in done by Le Le. It was amazing. I was in the chair from 6:30 until 7:30 and my hair looked flawless. My second visit was last week and again I left the chair looking amazing. The atmosphere is very comfortable, I love the colors of the salon. The staff is very pleasant and makes you feel comfortable. The prices are awesome too, I am a very BIG fan of the this $50.00 sew in it lasts up to a month, so I hope it is here to stay! I do plan on getting a micro link sew in very soon. I recommend any and everyone to EBK beauty! You will not be disapointed!!!
