My husband and I heard fascinating things about Next Generation Learning Center, so we decided to sign our daughter up. There was a waiting list, (which I assume is due to the fact that it was such a popular and well-respected school) and we didnt mind at all. We had her in a substitute daycare until a spot opened up for us, and when it did (almost a year later), we switched her to the school. At first we were very impressed during the walk through. Their presentation was excellent but thats as far as it goes. Every week there was an issue when it came to our daughters health and behavioral habits. One week, all the kids were biting, and fighting. She got bit at least 4 times that week. It was on her incident report. Then she would get sick. We understand that there are protocols when a child is sick, but it seemed that it was always after the weekend when our daughter "conveniently" had diarrhea. They would call us immediately to take her home. The incident that was the last straw, happened about 2 months into the program. I picked up my daughter from school and her hand was swollen to the size of an orange. She was bitten by something and had a severe allergic reaction. When I brought it to the teachers attention, she wasnt even aware of it. All she could say was “She probably got bit in the playground. You know there are all kinds of animals out there.” I was in shock when she said this. She didnt even have an incident report, I had to ask her to make one. She asked me what she should write on it. WOW REALLY?! I brought it to the directors attention and she said I should have been notified right away (which I wasnt). I had to take her to the doctor only to find out it WAS a severe reaction, and was supposed to have been seen immediately. He said it must have happened hours before me picking her up. When I mentioned to the director that I was not taking her back, all she did was make up excuses for the school and the teachers. She was so inconsiderate of the situation and her final words were, "Because I am not giving the 2 weeks notice (how could I my child was being neglected), I was going to be sent a bill (which I never received)." NOW 6 months later I am getting calls from a collection agency stating that I need to pay a balance, which I had no idea about because I never got a bill. All I could say to any parent out there is, dont take your child here. Yes, it is a nice school but they only care about collecting money, not the kids. (Just my daughters classroom had 2 teachers that quit in the little time she was there...PLEASE STAY AWAY!! You and your family do not need to go through what ours did

I have a 18 month old baby boy and a 6 month old baby girl. He started day care when he was 9 months old and she at 4 months old. I put my name on the waiting list on this daycare and waited for a spot for both of them (its easier when you have only one) meanwhile I took my boy to 3 different daycares. He cried every morning when I left him and I felt bad having to leave him. Then I finally received the call telling me there was a spot for both of them. He LOVES this place. The difference with other daycares is big. Everyday the teachers tell me about my babies day, what they ate, how they behaved, if you comment something they will give you some advice which shows they really care, they also make them learn different things. All the teachers, even from other classrooms, know my babies names and say hi to them when I walk by. The teachers know exactly what they like and what they dont which shows they observe each child in particular. They also have extra activities like music classes and water day. The director is a woman, and she has her own kids there, she is always on top of everything, always walking around the classrooms and making sure everything is running smothly. The teachers are very lovable, you can see inside the classrooms through the big windows how the teachers interact with the children, and feel happy your little one is having a good time, I can now leave my babies there and not feel bad. The place is always clean and you will see the cleaning lady all time cleaning toys and making sure all is clean. I am so happy my kids are here.

This use to be a great preschool. Through time management has changed and the majority of the staff has left. Exterior and interior of the school is by far the best around. There are a few good teachers that are still there, I would never discredit them in any way. However, our experience has been below average as time has moved forward the past couple years. I cant tell you how many times we have been lied too or just been given the run-around by management. At the end of the day I understand its a business, but all they really care about is how deep your pockets will go. We are very satisfied to say the least that we have moved on to a much better place (wish we would have done it sooner). I left my honest review because its only fair to other parents that they know the truth and are not blind-sided like we were. I could go on into details but it would honestly give me a headache!

Outstanding. We have spent three years here (from when my daughter was 4 months to 2 years, then I was able to work from home and no longer needed daycare, and we then returned back again for VPK program at 4 years old), and we have had nothing but positive experiences. The security is top notch (guard in parking lot, guard at front doors, finger print to get into day care), and the teachers are loving and caring, and go above and beyond in all ways. My daughter is in Miss Marlas class and the curriculum is extremely thought out, exciting, and engaging for the young ones, and the love and effort with which she teaches is something that, as a former educator myself, has TRULY affected me and touched my heart. I am extremely happy with my experiences and the school as a whole. Love Next Gen!

I was recommended Next Generation Preschool as a high quality daycare for my 3-month old baby girl. This month I visited their Fort Lauderdale facility and found it beautiful. I was provided with a brochure where they ask you to call for prices and availability if you need a part time program. As I am a college student I only need a part-time program for my child. When I asked the director if they have any part-time space available she replied that it would not be profitable for the center to have my baby as a part-time student, so they only offer full time programs. Coming from a learning center that belongs to the Baptist Church I was very disappointed with such response.

We commute from Boca everyday just to stay at NGLC. Their facility is beautiful and my daughter is in love with her teacher. I couldnt find one that compared near us. The staff is excellent about tracking your childs day to day activities and keeps you informed, good or bad. They also keep a low student teacher ratio in all of the rooms which was very important to me. I can tell that my daughter is very happy just by her reaction when we walk in the building. She is only 15 months and basically jumps out of my arms each morning to get to her classroom.
