PSA: DO NOT GO TO AROUND THE CLOCK FITNESS! I had a terrible experience with the gym and PT. I signed up for 6 months of PT in December then was terribly unsatisfied with their service. I called a manager who proceeded to promise me that I can put my PT contract on hold and receive 3 free personal training sessions and if I was still not satisfied, I could cancel my personal training contract. I went to one free session and then told the PT manager that I did not want to continue with the personal training. Today, I called in to update my payment information in order to pay for the past month (March, I had to deactivate my card on file) and they are saying I owe $600 for PT and membership. They are also saying I owe for January and February membership. I have a screen shot of my bank statement showing that they took out money for the month of January and February on 2/16/17. I was NEVER approached about my account when entering the gym and I was never called regarding this. I refuse to pay $600 for sessions I did not use. None of the conversation with the manager who made promises to me was documented.

Mega Tron

Its about $30 a month and once a year they take an extra $30 for whatever. Which is fine. The gym is clean. All types of cardio machines are frequently broken. They dont have a punching bag. They advertise a steam room but its broken and they wont fix it. I dont take group classes so i cant speak on that. Its close to my house and open 24 hours kind of. They lock the back area from 7pm-7am which has a lot of equipment i use so that sucks. They do have a lot of different equipment so you dont have to wait too long if its busy. If you request new equipment they will not help you. If management cared about the place it could be a fantastic gym. But they do not care. Overall its good enough.

A variety of workout equipment that makes it easy to work out in this gym without feeling overwhelmed. This is the cleanest ATC that I have been to. There is an elderly African American lady who works there and she is always smiling and says hello. She is a very hard worker and is always cleaning up after people as well as the machines. The front desk staff, for the most part, are pleasant and helpful. I have been with this gym for a year and I plan to continue here. The other ATCS in the area are unkempt and small. The alico location has been my workout home for the past year because of the friendly cleaning staff and the variety of the equipment.

Decent gym with a lot of equipment, and being open 24/7 is a plus. On the bad side, the treadmills are terrible if your into interval training since there is no interval setting, and the cable towers seem like they havent been greased in years, if ever. Its a workout in itself just adjusting the height of the cables. This place could be 5 stars if they did consistent maintenace and upkeep, but I dont see that ever happening. I was also told there was no way to login online to see your account charges even though there is clearly a link on the website for member logins. Seems suspicious.

I signed up for a membership and four days later was offered a job out of state. After having to call a 1-800 number to cancel my membership, I was told I had to pay $73 more dollars (after my original sign-up $42) in order to cancel my membership. In all, I am paying over $115 to use the gym for TWO WEEKS, due to my move. There was no working with them to change to a one month option or transfer my membership to my mother - there was no understanding. They lost any temporary gym visits from me when I come back to visit and they lost another potential member in my mother.

Local Reviewer

The gym is clean and people are friendly, however the group fitness classes constantly get canceled without notice. I plan my day around those classes and it is very frustrating waiting for the instructor for 10 minutes only to realize they are not coming. Noone ever takes the responsibility to let us know about this ahead of time or to find a sub instructor. Also the group fitness schedule is very outdated. When I signed up I showed up to 3 different classes that are listed on the schedule and learned they those classes are no longer active.

Love this gym! The equipment is clean and well taken care of. The staff is extremely friendly! Ive never used their PT services so I cant comment on that. Ive been working out here since they opened and Ive never had an issue. They offer discounts to students & certain jobs so it comes to $27/mo with the discount. For a 24/7 (even holidays) thats awesome!!! Worked out here in Christmas Day and even snagged a last minute shirt for a Christmas gift. When someone asks me what gym to go to I always recommend ATC!!!

This is definitely a great gym. I would highly recommend for everyone to at least check it out. A 24 hour gym is extremely convenient and this is definitely one of the best ones Ive been to. Imagine your favorite movie and how much you love it and want others to love it. This gym is like my favorite movie and I just dont understand why people dont like it. See for yourselves, try it out and let it be your favorite movie. Thank you Renee for introducing this gym to me!

ok so ive been a member about... 3 years? i always get a shake and its about $5. i guess i ordered a shake right before they closed the bar... so the guy charged me $9.54!!!!!!!! i called and asked.. he said he thought i asked for almond milk? look dude i work in the food service industry i know people like to charge extra when people come in late but screw management for not looking into this. however i love mike, hes the only one who seems to care about that place.

This gym has overcharged by $280 TWICE. They lock you into overpriced contracts with ridiculous buy-out clauses because they know after 6 months everyone wants to flee the scene. It took this gym over a month to get the money back into my account. No one owns up and takes responsibility, instead, you get pushed on to the next employee. Sign up if youre looking for a 1-star, uninspired gym. If there were an option for zero stars, Id choose that.

I have been consistently disappointed in the managements lack of response to the microphones and speakers being broken in the group classes. I take 6 classes a week and 90 percent of the time the instructors mic doesnt work or there is no music. The instructors have to yell, bring their own speakers, or class gets cancelled. Its a silly frustrating problem and Im thinking about switching gyms since no manager seems to care.

Short female manager with boy hair shouldnt be left in charge of a pot of boiling water, let alone a gym. Another member physically assaulted a guest of mine and the manager refused to remove the assailant from the gym because "hes been going there since they opened". The steam room has been broken for months and if you want to cancel your membership, be prepared to pay out the ass. Save your money and go anywhere else.
