I called for an emergency appointment when an outlet began smoking. They offered to send someone over right away, but I didnt feel comfortable letting someone in when I was at work. So the electrician met me at my home at soon as I got home from work. It turned out to be a minor problem, and all he had to do was tighten some screws on a few outlets, and that took him almost an hour. He went outside to call his boss, which took 15 minutes for some reason, and then took another 15 minutes to call the owner of my condo to get payment. All the while, I had to wait inside when he should have left 30 minutes earlier than he did. The charge was $150 for the first hour of service. Fortunately he didnt charge me any other fees, but $150 for an hour of looking at my outlets and using a screwdriver is outrageous. And to top it all off, he left his drill in my house and I had to leave it outside the following day for him to pick up. The electrician (Josh) was extremely polite and friendly, but the price was far too much, even though it was covered by my owner.
