I stopped in here one day to get my haircut last week because someone recommended this place to me. I sat down in the waiting area as the only 2 barbers (the owner and another lady) happened to be busy cutting the hair of two customers. I felt ignored the moment I walked in (not even a "Hello! Well be with you shortly.") but didnt think much of it as I assumed that they were busy giving their attention to their already seated clients. I was sitting there reading a magazine to wait for my turn when I overheard the owner talking ghetto-jive to her male African client. She probably wanted to impress the young Negro buck with how much she knew about black music. They were speaking about the recent Grammy awards (and about how she thought Kanye West was some sort of "genius") and the conversation quickly turned to hip-hop music. The owner started talking about how when she went to a 2LiveCrew concert when she was younger, and started bragging about how the performers had sex with a 16yo girl on stage during the concert. She found it amusing - I found it totally lacking class and even a minute shred of decency. That was when I walked out the door. I dont wanna hear about this garbage while I am waiting to get my haircut! I found this topic to be TOTALLY inappropriate to say the least and didnt feel like sitting through her foul mouthed tirade about how special she is because shes married to a black man and "totally digs hip-hop". We get it Tammy: you are a mudshark. Some of us dont give a rats-behind about what filthy beast you call your husband, and are only in there to get a haircut and not listen to you babble on and on about your halfsy, mixed-breed kids. TL;DR - Coal-haulin owner got a little too ghetto/explicit with her vernacular and I had enough of it. Walked out and took my shekels somewhere else where I wouldnt have to put up with listening to her foul topics of discussion about public rape and racemixing.

Im a return customer because I like their work. Years ago I did get a bad haircut from the same person Scott talked about in his review and I wasnt impressed. She no longer works at P-Nuts though and I keep going back because I like how they cut my hair. Theyre nice to be around when Im there and I always enjoy it.

Shaved off my eyebrows without asking. They dont grow back. For the rest of my life when I look in a mirror I will regret walking into this establishment.
