My 31 year old brother passed away in July 2016. It was a complete devastating and sudden loss for our family. The funeral service was nice and Mr Wade is a very polite man. However, other things that were important to us were not taken care of properly. My brother did not have life insurance so the unexpected cost of the funeral and cremation was a financial hit for the family. We paid close to $3000 and yet my fathers name on the Memorial Cards was spelled incorrectly, the date of death on the DVD was wrong, the date of death on the Urn was wrong as well, the music that we selected for him to play at the service was a complete mess!! We selected an instrumental spiritual song and he found a version of a woman singing that was TERRIBLE!! Another song "What hurts the most" from Rascal Flatts, he chose the version of a woman screaming in the beginning of the song and then the song cut off abruptly after the first verse. The blood curdling scream was a bit much during a funeral service. It really upset my mother to be listening to that while looking at her ONLY son laying in a casket. Mr Wade said that he would correct everything and NOTHING was ever corrected. He was supposed to give us corrected memorial cards for our family, he was supposed to correct the date of death on the DVD and give us a copy of the DVD and he was supposed to correct the date of death on the Urn and nothing was done. On top of it all, my brothers obituary was never published in the newspapers like he said he would do. This was upsetting because we had lot of family from Indiana, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Ecuador that were unable to make it to the service but were looking for the obituary to be posted so they could print it out as a memory. I sincerely hope that other families have better service than we did. We were repeat customers too!! Mr. Wade handled my uncles funeral in May 2014, which was very nice and he went above and beyond to take care of all the paper work for sending my uncles body back to Ecuador for burial. Proof reading and just listening to the music play list would have solved these preventable problems. Death is so painful for the families left behind and I just wish the service was a bit better so we couldve focused on energy on mourning instead of finding a bunch a mistakes. We almost feel like my brother was not honored in the way he should have been. I know he was a stranger to Mr. Wade but to my family he was a son, brother, father, husband, uncle and nephew. **On another note, my father was not able to make it to the service because he suffered a psychosis episode when he heard the news about my brother which landed him in the hospital. He was not discharged in time for the service but was discharged the next day. My dad insisted that he wanted to see my brother to say his final goodbyes. My brothers body was already on the way to the crematory facility and Mr. Wade asked the driver to return to the funeral home with my brother so he could allow my father to say goodbye. He fixed my brother up again in the casket just as he was the day before for the service. So I cannot thank him enough for doing that.**

a family member of mine passed away unexpectedly and there was no money left behind. Every place I called was asking for more than I can afford for a creation service. I called Wade funeral home and he was extremely helpful, knowledgable and gave me a good price on the cremation services. I was my first time ever dealing with something like this so I was lost and confused. He was very patient and understanding. Once again thank you and definitely would recommend this place to anyone who is going through the same.

I would recommend Wade Funeral Home to any/everyone, they are very good at what they do. My father passed away about two weeks ago and Wade funeral Home was there to help me pick up the pieces. Mr. Wade and staff were kind, very patient and understanding throughout the whole process. My dads home going was very nice and beautiful thanks to Wade Funeral Home.

Well Mr. Wade is very argumentive and rude as hell I only called to get information and he was a complete idiot. Please if you have a loved one use anyone else but Wade Im so glad we didnt use him especially after reading a prior awful review posted a few months ago. People with an attitude like his dont need to be in this type of business.
