I just began training. I have limitations from older injuries and my lack of fitness the last few years. They are working around those limitations. I am enjoying the atmosphere. Marcelo really knows his art and brings a positive experience to people of all levels. Prior to signing up, I went and spoke to Marcelo to discuss my limitations. He understood and told me he would work with my situation. That meant a lot to me because as the sole provider of my household I must be able to work. Pushing to hard and causing an injury would not be good. I have only had 4 classes but I am really enjoying the experience and the people running the show are helpful and kind. If your interested in learning how to defend yourself, the art of jujitsu or simply getting in better physical condition then I would recommend joining the armory. There are all age groups and families. Brazilian Jujitsu was modified to help a smaller or weaker individual to overcome a stronger and better conditioned individual in defending from an attack. Its a science. It works. Its Amazing to see a small person subdue a larger stronger person using these techniques. Enjoying the experience and would bet that you do to.

6 Year old son joined 2 months ago. He has progressed much quicker than I thought he would have at this point. The coaches are outstanding with the children and I feel very comfortable leaving him in the care of the Armory instructors. He loves going and never wants to miss a night. They allow 5 days a week from 5:30-6:30 for one very fair price. My only complaint is they started kickboxing every Monday so that is one day I wont send him, and there has been a few rare instances where there seems like an instructor didnt show. But most nights there is usually 3 instructors for maybe a group of 20 kids. Great ratio most times. Happy to pay a place like this in my community for an investment in my sons leisure, sport, life, fitness, health, discipline. The instructors are the truly what make this place great. I would give 5 stars if they did not take away our Monday Night Jiu Jitsu training. We are there for Jiu Jitsu, should have done extra kickboxing class for hour before or hour after instead of removing Monday night Jiu Jitsu training. Many parents I speak with feel similar.

My husband Ed is addicted to this place... :) Sometimes I stop by to watch him train and I have to say... this is not a typical gym... It is an awesome MMA / kickboxing / fitness CLUB... where everyone feels like they belong... The trainers all super friendly... and everyone relates to eachother like a great big family... My husband has a blast training here and I am really happy for him....

The Armory is a great fitness gym and is a wealth of knowledge for physical well being. Whether you want to get back into shape or train for a triathlon, the staff are friendly, motivating and knowledgeable. Great place to train and work out with like minded people! You will be pushed here, you will get better!

Trained here on vacation 3x, very friendly towards visitors. They go hard, but are not out to hurt you or anything. Students here have great fundamentals. Very positive environment, a great mix of serious training but having fun at the same time.
