Dont, just dont unless you want to grow old there....Traveling through; we were super excited to find a healthy organic meal and a patio for a much needed break. This place seemed fantastic. We were promptly greeted and had our orders taken within minutes. Ordered a wedge salad to split and it arrived fairly quickly. They brought a water bowl for the fur kid and all was well. Then we began to see inefficiency and staff unwilling to help each other. We ask another server for extra dressing, and sat for 10 min before our server stuck her head out the door to ask us what we needed. .. "work together people". Ok, we ordered wedge salad, grilled salmon with broccoli and a bowl of chowder... after 45 min of ridiculous wait time, (half full restaurant) my boyfriend got up to pay so we could leave. He saw our food sitting in the window. The server said she could bring it, we agreed to stay. But instead of bringing our full meal, she only brought the soup which had literally sat so long under the heat lamp, it had a film. We ask for the check to be brought with the Salmon and proceeded to sit for 10 additional minutes before we gave up; leaving a $10.00 bill to cover the wedge. I waited tables while I was in school and lemme tell ya this place was annoying and not worth the trouble until they train their staff and include "freshly prepared" in the establishments philosophy.

Stopped in here on a whim while on my way to Tennessee. It had quite good reviews so maybe I just caught it on an off day, but I was not impressed.
First.
No hostess.
Second.
I was the only one in line and still had to stand and wait for 10 minutes watching servers walk by the whole time.
Third.
No silverware, had to wait for at least 5 min, unable to eat my salad until my server returned. Not a big deal, but still.
Fourth.
I ordered the shrimp and grits, which was brought out within a reasonable amount of time. Its a favorite entre of mine and I have had good and bad shrimp and grits and these were smack dab in the middle, not good but not bad. Shrimp was nice and firm, but it just lacked flavor. Also could have been a little hotter temperature wise.
My server was nice, but beyond that I was quite disappointed.

This restaurant is incredible! The french onion soup and the seafood chowder are amazing.... The greek salmon is cooked to perfection as are the prime rib and sirloin. For the healthier palette I recomend the Ahi Tuna...magnificent ! The historical atmosphere is very relaxing and when the fireplace is on, you and the music is playing, you never want to leave! Very warm and inviting and the waitstaff is very friendly and knowledgable about the menu and how the food is prepared. I highly recommend Marion Street. I promise you wont be disapointed!

Horrible!!!!! Bland food. Hardly any flavor even on their "truffle" fries. The chicken tenders were barely breaded and flavorless with ranch dipping sauce as watery as milk. Literally. When we ate some of the truffle fries my husband pulled out a hair from the bottom of the basket under all the fries. It was so disgusting. They said sorry about that...really!?! They then asked if we wanted a dessert.. Really? Why would I want ANYTHING else from that unhygenic kitchen? This experience makes me want to gag. If I were you I WOULD NOT EAT HERE!!

A wonderful menu, not the run of the mill fast food or chain restaurant meals. All plates made from scratch. We had the Mediterranean platter as an appetizer, just a superb mix of textures and flavors. Lunch on Saturday was served very promptly. Best menu for over 50 miles around. If your palate appreciates food better than fast food, you will absolutely enjoy this experience. This is an historic building with many photos and descriptions of the history all around the walls. A delight for all especially history buffs.

They have a nice clean feeling atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. I ate lunch at opening time and the restaurant was ready to run no long waits and the food was fresh. The waiter gave an excellent recommendation on a dish based on what I was looking for. Everyone was all smiles and attentive without being overbearing. Loved everything about the place if Im ever in lake city again Ill definitely stop for the food and some ESPN on in the background.

Good was excellent. My daughter and I had specific requests like no pickles, no tomatoes. The waters, Sadie, got everything just right. She was awesome. I had the club sandwich and my daughter had philly and cheese flat bread. Im going to try the flat bread next time. It was great. The hostess was sweet and seated us under a fan cause it was so hot outside.

Its a place to unwind, or step up the party. I often come here just to unwind ,and separate from the hustle and bustle of life. The service, food and atmosphere is tops. In my opinion the best in town. I have heard of future expansion of the establishment. I believe this will be my Choice when asked " where do you want to go"

Beautiful atmosphere and excellent food! We loved sitting outside where it was quieter and we could have an easy conversation. It gets a bit loud inside, but the live music is always good! Definitely recommend Id youre looking for a romantic or fun restaurant in the area.

One of the best places I have been to in the area. Good, quality food with great variety and one of the better craft beer selections in Lake City. The staff is always very good and attentive. With great consistency, this is the best place I have found to eat in Lake City

Great refurb on two historic buildings providing a much-needed dining location as well as life after hours downtown. Menu changes periodically making it interesting. Food quality is good and meets the requirement of being tasty and reasonably priced.

Not worth the wait. Took 40 minutes to get our lunches after ordering when not super busy. Our appetizer of fried mushrooms was very obviously refried and arrived cold. Save yourself the trouble and get fast food somewhere for a better experience.

No oysters available 912 pm Saturday night. I would leave right now. But I ordered crab cakes and salad. Very pissed..live music was good - she Sang Marion hill. Long Island Was acidic. How do you run out of oysters?

This was my third visit to this restaurant and my last. Ownership seems to take advantage of the fact that there are few eatery choices near the courthouse because they could certainly provide better quality food.

This place would do well anywhere: Winter Park, Avalon, Atlanta, you name it. My steak was perfect both in temp and quality. The oysters were fresh and plump. Rustic elegance from wall to wall. Great drinks. Go!
