Its sad because the food was decent but the experience was so weird that it became annoying. While I was paying still, they already start yelling my name 6 times very loudly for my chips and queso. The server just hands me the food instead of walking it to the table. When we just got our entree food and I have the first bite in my mouth, they are coming over and asking us if we need anything immediately. I mean, yay they are being super fast on everything but this is to the point that I need them to just back off already. Give me a minute! I find it very irritating to have them yelling for me before I even finish paying or asking me questions when Im still chewing my first bite. The waitress was going to walk away before I could actually answer her question because she wouldnt wait for me to not have food in my mouth. If you are going to choose to ask something while your customer clearly have food in their mouth, then have patience for them to chew it and answer you. I ended up pointing out my empty water. They are in such a rush that they dont let you calmly enjoy your experience. This was my biggest issue with My first time visit. The other things I didnt like: How you have to pay and tip before the meal. I always tip reasonable but I like to give extra if I really like my experience. I cant do that with their set up as far as I can tell without doing their cash tipping. I dont carry cash on me really anymore. Again, I feel as if Im being rushed to decide before I even have an experience. When the server offered to refill my chips before leaving, she gave me salsa instead of queso to go. I paid for queso and chips. My entree came with queso as well. I would think thats what I would have gotten but no. Not a big deal but kind of disappointing. They didnt offer to-go cups for any of the "dips" that came with my entree despite both me and my boyfriend having left overs. This is pretty standard for other places Ive gone to. Overall, I probably wouldnt come here again. When I go out to eat, Im there for the experience and dont want to be rushed the entire time. If I was in a rush, Id just get fast food through a drive through.

As a first timer at this location I am not impressed. When ordering I was very specific about what I wanted on my order and repeated it. What seemed like a long wait even though not busy the food arrived. She stated what I had ordered and handed it me and then repeated what my husband had ordered and handed him his food. Two bites into my burrito I crunched a pepper. I opened up my burrito and saw that it had many pieces of peppers and onions. NOT what I had ordered. I sent it back and waited. My husband was finished with his burrito and it did not have on what he had ordered. Another waitress came to the table and started to place a quesida in front of me. What? She then wandered around the still not busy cafe with someones order. Finally my order came and it was very good but what I went through to get it was not a good impression of this restaurant. Is it the help? Not properly trained or just an i dont care attitude.

The Customer Service is AMAZING! Ive been coming here for about 4 years now because I live in the area and I mostly get take-out. Today I forgot my wallet and felt completely frustrated that I left my $ at home. I tried to pay with my Samsung pay and it didnt seem to take to their register. The employee helping me, Brian, said "dont worry about it, just call me when you get home and pay over the phone". It was a very pleasant experience and he made me feel better about not having to drive back with my wallet. Overall the food is consistently amazing! There are so many more options than Moes or Chipotle. I would eat at Tijuana Flats over those two other Mexican restaurants because it tastes more like authentic Mexican food, with flavor! The orders are always accurate and the employees treat you with 5 star service every time!

This establishment is hands down our favorite restaurant to come and eat at or take to-go. The food is extraordinary -- always freshly prepared and almost always correct. The GM who runs this particular Tijuana Flats is a big reason why we keep coming back and loving it. Very friendly and goes out of his way to make sure that everything is correct and we are satisfied with our order. The staff and other managers are just as good and treat you like family (they go out of their way to get to know you). The hot sauce bar is great and is always being updated with delicious sauces to try. While eating in, they will make sure that you are taken care of and will ask if you need anything (refills, etc.). If you want to come to eat at a very well run restaurant that is sure to satisfy and make you wanting more - this is THE place!

When I entered the building, I immediately felt welcomed. The door was held open for us, the restaurant was explained to us and we were seated. We ordered our food and the girl behind the counter was very friendly. Our food was brought out very quickly, and tasted amazing. I absolutely loved the free refills on drinks, chips, salsa and EVEN guacamole. Everything was good. For the amount of food we ordered the price was great. The wall art was nice and made me feel very welcomed. If you are new to the area I would definitely recommend this place. It was my first time and my only complaint was the plastic silverware for your giant burrito. Other than that I have zero complaints. 5 out of 5 would come back

Great place for lunch or dinner, but there catering department needs some improvements. I had my wedding catered by them (it was hubby favorite place, now he wont go back) They didnt bring the 8 bottles of hot sauce I ordered, and the queso tasted burnt. They were also supposed to put chip set ups on the tables so my guests would have something to munch on while they waited for the buffet line. ( something I had stressed was very important to me) When they arrived they said oops we for got to order the containers for it. If they had called even the morning of I could have figured out something for chip containers. I was so disapointed.

Tijuana is one of my favorite burrito places. It ranks right up there with Chipotle for me. They have good burritos and chimmychangas along with some GREAT guac. On Burrito Thursdays you can get chips/drink/burrito for $5.99, which is a great deal. However, the best part of Tijuana is the Sauce Bar. The Sauce Bar is simply outstanding. Theyve got sauces ranging from mild to ridiculous, and I have yet to try a sauce I didnt like. Weve actually ended up buying several bottles of their hot sauces to bring home with us. Suffice to say, they go quick. This location in particular has a great staff with consistently great service.
