The last time I got my haircut at Master Cuts was about two years ago, I recall it being an okay experience. Anyway, I thought it was about time for me to cut my long hair so I could make it easier getting a new job and to stop my girlfriend from nagging me to cut it. So, I went to Master Cuts to go get my haircut and really wish I had not. This heavyset girl, that wore glasses, with purple dyed hair cut my hair (mentioned by another reviewer). Before my haircut, I already started to feel nervous. For some reason, I knew I should not have let that girl cut my hair, she ended up screwing my hair up. All I wanted was a typical mens combover haircut; long on the top, short on the sides with a part. During my haircut, she poked me with the scissors a couple of times, which made me feel uneased. Once she "finished", I was not too thrilled with the end result, which I was not too happy paying for. At the time, I thought it could not be that bad, until I went to the bathroom to check it out. Right away, I noticed that I still had some very long stray hairs that she missed, so I had to walk back over there for her to "fix it". Still, I think my hair looks like crap. The next day, while I was at school, I started to feel extremely self-conscious about my hair. A few people that I asked, who actually looked, noticed that it was not cut all that great. What I got was a half-assed haircut; unevenly cut with neck hair in the back not trimmed properly. Now I feel like have to go get it fixed and I really dont want to spend another twenty bucks. Do yourself a favor, dont get your haircut at Master Cuts!!!

After reading some of the bad reviews I was a little scared to try Master Cuts, but it was close, I needed a haircut and I didnt want to spend that much. there were a couple of girls working there and I got the pink haired girl I think her name was Laurie or something close to that. I was a little nervous cause I just have regular hair and didnt want anything that different, but I had to wait a little bit and saw the person she had done right before me and it came out nice so that made me feel more Comfortable. she asked me how I wanted my hair and she took her time cutting my hair and it came out looking great! This is a small town and I just moved here in May and and there are a lot of hair and nail places for the amount of people that live here so Im guessing that theres probably a lot of competition for people so I wanted to write a fair review of this place. Is it the hair salon to the Stars? No, but you can get a good haircut for a good price and the girl that did my hair was pleasant and did a good job.

HORRIBLE SERVICE: The stylist never said hello or asked me my name when I came in for a shampoo and style. She barely touched my head as she patted on the shampoo and conditioner taking the bare minimum effort to rinse me each time while scalding me with hot water and yanking on my extensions. I had to beg her to use the products I love and use a round brush, which she didnt seem to know how to use. She never asked how I wanted my hair styled and was annoyed when I asked her to do what I had come in for. She poked my face and ears with her nails constantly and again scalded me with high heat. No conversation attempts at all and it seemed she couldnt wait for me to leave so she could go home. Im a hair stylist and this is the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have ever had in a salon. No wonder few people never make it very far in this profession.

Asked her for layers, got all one length. Asked for more layers, was told "yep, theyre there". Asked for a blow dry, was told "all of it?" What kind of question is that?? Asked for styling so I could continue my day without going home to dry my hair, got 90% dry hair and an "all done". The woman was sweet and old and soft spoken, and just did a terrible job cutting and "styling" my hair. Didnt even run a comb or brush through it after drying it. I went to Regis afterward (also in the mall) and they did a GREAT job for even less money.

Ive stopped in here many times over the years to get my boys haircut. They change staff every time I come. And recently I had a hairstylist try to talk me into leaving when she had NO customers. And then complained because SHE cut her finger....because my 5 year old turned his head. So a 5 year old has a hard time keeping his head perfectly still....imagine that! I think maybe Ill go elsewhere from now on.

First thing in the morning, April was wonderful and kept my toddler at ease. She talked to him and kept him engaged, she even let him check out the clippers. My son has cowlicks in the front, April knew exactly how to cut his hair. My son looked fantastic after April was done. I am so pleased.

I would avoid this place at all costs. If youre anything like me, you want your hair nicely cut in a pleasant environment. This place is depressing to say the least, and most of the stylists cant perform the specials going on. Seriously? Dont waste your time, energy or money on this place.

Jamie did a great job on my hair! My cut was spur of the moment "Mother Daughter Day" type, and before a wedding. My hair looked great for the wedding, and the cut she gave me is so versatile! Im glad my mom suggested we get our hair done - and glad Jamie cut it. She did a great job!

DO NOT LET LOREAN CUT YOU HAIR...SHE HAS. PURPLE/GREY HAIR.SHE SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED TO HAVE SCISSOR IN HER HAND. SHE SCALPED MY DAUGHTERS HAIR. WENT IN WITH SHOULDER LENGTH HAIR TO GET A TRIM NOW ITS INCH LONG IN BACK..... STAY AWAY FROM HER AT ALL COST

The staff do a good job on hair, and really try to make each customer happy. Not always possible, since some people try to scam free haircuts or that there is a wait list when busy
