I have visited this location several times. Its the closest one to my house. What happened to myself and another customer tonight was absolutely sad. I could literally combine every negative aspect of every single visit to all of the stores besides this location (which includes all 2 of the Knoxville locations, all 3 of the Cincinnati (and several surrounding area locations, about 4 or 5 total0) locations, and the location off Thompson Lane close to downtown Nashville), and they would never add up to even be close to the negatives that I have experienced in ONE single visit to THIS location. I think Ive visited this location about 8 or 9 times. Every time, its something. Tonight when I went to the store, I was just wanting to get ONE product that Ive been wanting forever. I knew where it was in the store, and it probably wouldnt have taken me 2 minutes to get in and out (not including the awful line to pay because they are very slow at the registers). But, I didnt even get a chance to go in the store. When I was parking, I noticed a woman standing right outside the door. When I got out and started walking to the door, a sales associate inside LITERALLY shut the door in my face. They were NOT closed yet!!! I must admit I thought they were open an hour later than they actually were; however, I was AT the door to walk in 2 MINUTES before closing time. I have never seen ANY store, not even Ulta in particular, operate in this manner!!! SAD. Just really sad. Unprofessional and very rude. I dont think Ill ever go to this store again no matter how badly I need something or how quick or easy it should be to buy it and get out of the store.

Ill start by saying that Ive been going to this Ulta for years! Ive definitely seen a few rude employees, but for the most part they were at least nice. Last night I ran by to grab some shampoo and needless to say I wont be back again. I go to the check out counter and without even saying hello or did you find everything ok, the cashier immediately asks for my phone number. She then makes the comment, "Um that doesnt have a lid." Thinking shes talking about my shampoo I stood there really confused. So she points to my boyfriends water bottle which he sat down 4 feet from the register to get out his credit card. She tells him that its for our protection because her computer is EXPENNNSIVE. I totally understand that she doesnt want water spilled on the counter or her computer, but it wasnt presented in a nice way. She took a situation that would have been easy to address and decided make it a point to make us feel stupid. From now on Ill drive the 10 minutes down the road to the Smyrna location.

I went in there Wednesday to get a hair cut and style. Never again! Almost 60 dollars for a cut and it looks like she barely touched it! My hair had dead ends and I was wanting some length taken off but she took it upon herself to do whatever she wanted. She even charged me 10 extra dollars to flat iron a few pieces to make sure she cut it even. Well, she didnt cut it even at all. I also wanted my bangs trimmed and she didnt even ask. She just said "we arent touching those." What did I pay for?! The most terrible haircut ever. Ill take my money and go to a REAL salon next time. By the way, this was my first time at the Ulta salon and all around was "new customers, receive 15% off your service". Was waiting to see if she was going to offer it but she never did. Disappointed and HIGHLY WOULD NOT recommend this place for salon purposes.

This is the worst Ulta I have been to. There is always a long wait. I have never been offered help by an associate. The one cashier today was friendly to the customers, but was incredible slow to check them out. I was the second person in line and waited 10 minutes, until two incredibly selfish, inconsiderate women, with handfuls of products, cut infront of me. Needless to say, I threw my one item in the bin next to me and stormed out. I will not be returning to the Murfreesboro Ulta. Theyve lost a platnium member. I will be taking my business to Sephora or directly to the cosmetic companies.

This place is horrible! !!!! I get coupons from this place all this time. Well I went up to get some perfume and I notice the coupon only applied to certain perfumes, well the perfume I chose were good to go with the coupon, even the girl in the floor looked at it and said it was ok. I get to the front and they refuse to take it!!!!! They have never taken a single coupon from me when they send them to me! I spend 200$ on perfume and they just lost a customer over 20%! Im done there. Never again!!!! Terruble customer service! !!!

I recently got a rusk keratin anti curl 2 I actually went to get a relaxer and was told this was like a relaxer just healthier for my hair so I got it done and I finally took a shower after 4 days to make sure it worked to the best and my hair is still curly.. I now wasted my money and was lied to . anti curl was actually more expensive. Very disappointed I come to ulta because I thought it was a professional place.

The young man who did my blow out was kind. Unfortunately the worse blow out ever. I have long thick hair and I left with it feeling lifeless and wasted $40+ on something I could have done better at home. I got my pictures back- thus the reason why I wanted someone else to do my hair and I cried. My hair is horrible :(

The first ulta Ive ever been to where the sales associates make up doesnt look clownish! When I needed help and suggestions, someone was really eager to help and I didnt feel rushed. Be warned, this location is CROWDED and SMALL compared to most ultas I have been to. The merchandise is awkwardly placed, too.

Staff is unfriendly and not very helpful. Ive been in twice now with appointments and both times theyve been very late or unable to keep the appointment at all. Perhaps their staff is poorly trained. They do have a good selection of retail items but never trust them on an important day bc it wont go through

Came in to Ulta tonight in search for some new foundation and a lady by the name of Jamie, in the Japonesque section, helped me out so much by doing my makeup and letting my try it before I bought it! Super happy with the products and her knowledge! Will be back to see her.

I love this store and salon! The staff are always willing to help and very knowledgeable. Jason in salon is great! He has been my stylist for maybe 2 years now and will continue to be. Stop in, take a peek, make an appointment :)

Worst, rudest employees. Will never be going back to this location again. I will gladly drive to the one in symrna to actually be treated like a human being. Employess are not even trained on how to use the systems.

VERY VERY slow check out, line is always wrapped half way down the wall, NEVER EVEN ONCE have I been helped while shopping, out of the one mascara I use half the time I go in. Will not be going there again!!
