This haircut experience has haunted me for two weeks. My boyfriend and I both decided to get haircuts here because we were close by. Im well aware Great Clips can be a gamble from experience with several locations and their stylists. I asked for a simple faux hawk with skin faded sides. After the stylist asked a string of unsure questions, I starting getting afraid while they aggressively jabbed the teeth of the razor into the scalp of my head. So, I began getting the idea that many parts of my haircut were being skipped over with questions like, "Is the length on the top of your head okay?" The rushed experience with the stylist was cold and impersonal. And I started to feel less like a customer and more like a number. Regardless, I stayed polite, even when they didnt offer to style my hair into the faux hawk style I asked for. When I looked into the mirror before paying, It looked like my hair hadnt been cut but I continued staying positive. I even started thinking that my lack of reactions were being recorded for the live tv show, "What Would You Do?" Because I couldnt believe this was real. Reality didnt set in until me and my boyfriend walked out the door. We discussed the experience, and they had an almost identical one with their stylist. He showed a picture to his stylist of how he wanted it, and now a cap has to be worn until his hair grows back out. I dont hate Great Clips, I just feel like the people they are hiring either need experience cutting hair or they need to be certified to do so. Its starting to make Great Clips look very bad.

This used to be my go-to spot for a haircut for seven years, but seeing their excessive, sky-high turnover, they have received a never again from me. I never...NEVER get the same stylist so its always a new ordeal explaining my haircut and style desires. The last time I went in for a cut I was barely greeted and the "stylist", a large urban woman, hardly grunted any communication to me at all. So, not talking to me, she hurried through my cut in 4 minutes and butchered my hair. This is not uncommon there. Sadly, the prices have been raised, but the expertise and customer service has devolved tremendously. The place seems to cater now to the growing urban population and the haircuts reflect this. So, now everything is a hurried cut with clippers, offered with no personal touch or care. Go somewhere else for a haircut that deserves your business and acts like it.

I LOVE...LOVE...LOVE THE PLACE!!! The stylist are sweet and funny. I NEVER had a dull moment when I go there. Now, for all these people here writing these unkind comments, shame on you. If you want a PERFECT HAIR CUT, then I suggest you do your own hair and stop messing with these ladies who are making a living like you all are. Ladies @ Great Clips, keep up the GRRRREAT WORK!!!!

Always understaffed, checked in online with a wait of 25 minutes...waited 15 minutes before I went there and then was told I would have to wait an additional 30 minutes..service is bad..always!!! Hair cut is always different and never cleans hair off..dont waste your time..go somewhere else.

This Great Clips is under new management. If you have not been there lately you should try it again. The stylists are friendly and professional. I could tell that they enjoyed working together. I will definitely come back.

Well I took my mom to get her hair washed there was no one in but the staff in there ...was told that if I didnt have a online reservation that I would have take her somehere else or come back tomorrow well Wal-Mart had time :)

I have a side buzz that Im always super nervous about getting trimmed, but Nikki did a wonderful job and trimmed it exactly the way I like without it costing me an arm and a leg. She also gave me really pretty lines!

Use to love it here but theyre never open when I go "due to staffing issues" its time for them to close for good or at least get new management.
