Im probably one of the most over protective, helicopter, moms in this earth. I have three children, two girls and one boy. My girls are school age and dont attend La Petite. My son was born two months premature. I was so scared to place him in daycare, even though my other children had attended. I was worried that he wouldnt be watched close enough, or fed right, or my worst thought was that someone would injure him. Id also never used any daycare besides Pineapple Cove in Bayside, who are phenomenal. However, I work in Merritt island, and needed to be close to my son. I started my child, at four months of age, in La Petite. I apologize, ahead of time, as Im not great with names. I wanted to review this daycare because Im more than pleased, and surprised at my comfort and happiness, with regards to my choice in taking Levi to this facility. Theyre clean, secure, supportive, and great care givers. You can really tell that these people love children. Ive not had one bad experience. My son got sick within a couple of weeks of starting, which was expected. They made sure he received his breathing treatments. My son has ridiculous reflux, and one of the ladies there recommend I let him try their formula, Gerber gentle, which Id never used before, and only used enfamil. Well, Im now switching because hes not spitting up, much, at all. I know one name for sure.. Miss Heather. The reason? My soon to be six month old, when I come through the door, and shes standing there waiting, well.... I may as well not be there lol.. Miss Heather makes him smile so big in the morning. I can tell he is happy there. Plus when I pick him up, hes happy as well. The afternoon ladies, again my apologies for being terrible with names, really must be great with him also. Levi loves la petite, and do I. Great job, ladies! Id recommend this facility to everyone!!!!

We have been taking our son here for several years and we are extremely happy with the Merritt Island La Petite Academy! We actually tried several other places before we found this place and none of them came close to the staff and environment that is offered here. In particular, Melissa did a great job with watching over our son during his transition. She was very helpful in making sure that he was happy (above all) and even worked with us to make unique accommodations for our son! They also maintain a very detailed curriculum for learning and development. Our son regularly surprises us with new things that he learns almost daily. I highly recommend Erica and Kelsey for VPK courses if you are able to get in. They are really good at what they do. Other teachers that have all been a big part in my son’s development are Cathy, Norma, Shardae, and Jordan. Kelly is a great director who always listens to the parents. We couldn’t be happier with this place. Thank you!

I absolutely adore the staff at this center. They are always so friendly and kind. I feel like they almost love my son as much as I do. He has been with them since he was 14 months and is now a few weeks shy of 2 years old. During his time here, he has learned and grown so much. He is counting to 20 and learning his colors and shapes. He names all of his body parts and knows all animal sounds. He is becoming so independent and I owe it all to this wonderful staff. He also loves his teachers and friends so much.They really take the time to get to know each family and give the children eye to eye contact and attention. I would recommend this center to anyone in the area that is looking for good quality daycare.

Every time I walk up to La Petite to bring my daughter to school, I am greeted by beautiful seasonal decor (for instance, now there are pumpkins and a bale of hay out front) and smiles from all the teachers and staff. It makes me feel great to know my child is surrounded by teachers who care, not workers who are there to get a paycheck. I love La Petite! Since my daughter has been enrolled at this preschool, she continues to amaze us by showing off everything shes learned. Im so proud of our little learner.

Everyone is great here. They take the time to get to know each child, and provide high quality care and instruction. Teachers are familiar with the childrens backgrounds and are great at assisting them to continue to improve in whatever area is being targeted. We checked dozens of places before deciding to send our son here, and it was the best move we have made thus far.

I have had all 3 of my kids at La Petite over a span of 5 years- including a newborn. One of my kids skipped kindergarten because he was already so advanced due to La Petites amazing VPK program. I could not be happier with this daycare and I seriously love all its caregivers. The front office staff are so courteous and helpful. It is always clean and smells good... -KF

My 3 year old son has attended this learning center for a little over a year now and he absolutely loves it. He spends a good portion of his day there Monday- Friday and is always happy to go and be there. He has learned so much and they have done an awesome job assisting us in pottty training.
