I am not a regular to the Miami area. I travel a lot but not into this region. I walked in alone and sat up at the bar area, which is not REALLY much of a bar area. A couple of the waitresses approached me and they spoke spanish, at first, until I indicated that I was not fluent with the language. I got the menu and the waitress took my drink order and brought back an ice cold mug and a Corona light. I was looking at the menu and she told me of several specials, which was a bit hard to understand because she did not speak great english. I ordered one of the specials and it was really great. It was a nice sized grilled lobster tail with some grilled shrimp in the middle on top of a huge grilled filet of snapper. The food only took a few minutes and it was served with two sides, I chose yellow rice and black beans. Both sides were delicious and the entree was impressive and tasted great. The only complaint was that the lobster and shrimp were a little overcooked but it was still very good. The black beans and rice were awesome! The price was not terrible. I had three beers and the entree and my tab was $50 before gratuity. Its hard to find a decent lobster alone for around that price. The staff was very nice . Beware, if you speak english you need to be prepared for some spanish being thrown at you. There was a bar patron there that was very talkative, he told me all about Castro and told me Donald Trump was going to do what Castro did here in the USA. Amazing what the media can do to fool people...Id go back there but I will NEVER stay by the Miami airport again its the worst area I have ever stayed. No food hardly anywhere and LOUD planes all night long! Good luck

La comida es pésima, aproximadamente hace 1 año visite este restaurante y muy diferente que ahora, mi esposa y mis hijo me dijeron que no querían volver. Yo ordene un pescado entero con raros blanco, el pescado no tenia sabor a nada, y como que fríenron el pescado con aceite aún frío porque le escurría el aceite. La anbuguesa de mis hijo tenía la carne cruda. No les puedo recomendar es lugar porque se llevarán una mala experiencia si son amantes y saben del buen sabor. Tienen precios de restaurante de primera, pero comida de cafetería.

I always enjoy coming to Don Camaron. The servers though mostly spanish speakers are attentive as can be. Between the Okeechobee location and this one we have been here over a dozen times. The food is always fresh and hot. They have a seafood soup and one thing I like is that they always accommodate us with our special request such as low salt or no fish add shrimp. To me this is a sign that there are cooks in the kitchen and not someone opening and heating a plastic bag. I dont usually do fried food but this last time I ordered the conch fritters and they were fantastic; served with lime and what tasted like a homemade tarter sauce. All of us at the table ordered the rice and shrimp dish the amount was a generous portion with plenty of shrimp and comes with a side dish. We all had plenty too take home. I passed on their sinful dessert Ive had before, Bahama Mama, I think they call it. I had to save some calories especially after having those conch fritters. I did finish the meal with a perfectly executed cortadito with a foam froth topping.

I am a female, I came here a while ago with my girlfriend here for our anniversary and first, the food was stale, seafood seemed old and food overall not very good. After dinner, we stayed to watch the heat game. It wasnt long before the general manager came up to us and told us "this is a family oriented restaurant and watch your behavior because there are children here", along with many more threats to kick us out. She had her arm over me and we were watching the game, and this man came to us as if we were in our bedroom . I will never come back to eat here it was the first place I have ever gotten discriminated against.

Don Camarón ofrece comida de mar y adicionalmente un pescadería para que lleves pescado a tu casa. Tienen 3 locaciones (Miami, cerca del aeropuerto, Miami Lakes y un espacio dentro del estadio de béisbol de los Marlins). Aunque un poco ruidoso, es un buen sitio para almorzar con los colegas del trabajo.

Im one of the toughest food critics in the US. Traveling in Miami for a couple hours and landed upon Don camaron. Northwest 37th Avenue next to Magic City Casino Ordered sliced tomatoes as one of my Sides ☺ the tomatoes were huge fresh and filling / best conch Fritter Ive ever had / and the whole fried snapper was cook to perfection. Five star service five star food Ill be back when visiting Miami. I highly recommend this restaurant if you havent been here youll be youll keep coming back..Thank you W.. Bueno nuestra experiencia no fue nada buena,la camida pasada en grasa y mala, nunca nos dieron agua a pesar que la pedimos varía veces,parecía que estábamos en una cafeteria, que horror, pediamos una cosa y nos traian otra,no lo recomiendo.

I obviously made the right decision this place is a gem, the food is delicious ,fresh and flavorful the personnel is friendly helpful and always caring. I brought my grandma and she also love it .
