What a horrible place. If you want to spend $30 for them to massacre your eyebrows and skin go ahead. The woman who was there was completely in experienced! 1. She double dipped on the stick into the wax which is disgusting and not hygienic 2. She kept rubbing the wax hard on my face ripping off the paper then applying it again on the same place and rubbing hard and ripping! It was pure torture 3. The wax was not even ready to apply on skin then she over heated the wax and applied it on my upper lip and basically waited for it to dry before ripping off the paper. 4. My eyebrows have no life she then decided to use the tweezers for like 15 additional minutes just ripping off hair. I figured since she took almost an entire hour ripping hair from my face and torturing that my eyebrows would look amazing. Instead they looked like furry caterpillars have just gone to war. I wanted to cry and tell her to fix it but I was not going to sit there for another hour and have this woman pretend to know what shes doing. This is a zero rating. Oh lets not forget how she dared putting alcohol on my burning skin instead of something soothing!! :( super disappointed and never going again.

Horrible Service! I was a walk in appointment and was quite happy that I had to wait only 15 min to be seen, but everything went downhill after that. I went in for a hair cut and color, but the stylist seemed more concerned to make me feel horrible about the condition of my hair and how I needed to buy the hair products she was selling in order to save my hair! I politely said Id think about it, I dont know if they make a commission but after that she was pulling and ripping my hair. I continually told her she was hurting me but it made little effect, she actually told me that it doesnt hurt! Not her scalp!! I should have walked out, because when it was time to pay she surprised me by telling me she charged as if she was a director. I did not know you pay more if the stylist is the owner or director. I asked why wasnt I told that I was going to be charged more, she said she had worked here long enough and should be a director. My total was $350.00 and she or this salon DID NOT deserve a penny of it. By far my worst experience ever at a salon. I left feeling ripped off and ridiculed!!!! Dont even consider coming here ever, youll thank me!

I was in aruj spa two weeks ago to colored my hair. I told the hairdresser (arturo) I wanted a lighter color. After the first coloring (he colored my hair twice) he noticed that my roots were different than the ends, then he put some colored shampoo to even the color. He gave the most ridicoulous excuse that the kind of coloring that he was using darken my hair but eventually it gets lighter and I can get some highlights if I want it lighter, so i leave with a dark, dull, liveless, rare color. I went straight to a hair cuttery next to my house (I should do that from the beginning) and they fix my hair, half cost, and the result was amazing. My advice? no always expensice means better. I would never go back to that place, not even for free.
