I was looking for a salon for a quick repair for my hair and stumbled upon this tiny salon. I was very excited to go, I popped in to see if they had anything available. As soon as I walked in everyone stared at me, not even a hello or welcome. I walked to the cashier to see if they had anything available and they did, "Come back in 2 hours". I was so excited I went 20 minutes early to see if maybe they can wash my hair in the meanwhile as my stylist was ready for me, but I was wrong. i waited those 20 minutes to sit down in the chair and not even get a wash. The stylist barbarically ran his fingers through my coarse un-brushed hair several times. He then cut the back of my hair as if it was a straight line and finished in (exactly) 9 minutes. I then asked him to please cut my bangs, since he completely ignored the front of my hair. He cut them and said he was done. NO WASH, NO SPRAY(MIST), JUST CUT AND GO. I probably could have gotten better treatment at a male barber shop! Then when I go to pay, I always, regardless of situation, leave 15% tip. So I noticed he did not even bother to give me his business card UNTIL he noticed I gave 18% tip! He then handed me his business card when he saw the tip, and said "Please tell all your friends about this place". Well TRUST ME, I AM. I was treated unfair, and was practically rushed out. It was the absolute worst experience I have ever had visiting a salon. I encourage anyone that is considering this disgraceful salon to THINK TWICE! I will NEVER visit this salon EVER AGAIN and believe that anyone I know, friends, family, coworkers, business partners and financial advisors will STAY AWAY from this place! Studio-D is a horror spot for any lady looking to be treated fairly. Aside from the negative review, I even overheard my "stylists" (as they like to call themselves) speaking spanish, racially degrading another American woman in the shop. I WILL NEVER RETURN, even if offered free services.

I got a haircut there last Tuesday evening, I didnt like it, next day I told the guy, Im sure he was defending his work, when he said he liked it, my complaint was never about his work, it was about me not liking it, he said he was busy all the way till next Tuesday, I talked to the manager to get me something sooner with someone else, I went there today, to find out the same guy is to fix my hair, the water was cold as the service, and although he said he had 15 minutes to fix my hair, not that I care, it only took 5 minutes, maybe he was having a bad week, I definitely am. If I wasnt so adorable I would understand the guy hated me! But beautiful facilities and employees specially the manager Julian

I rarely find good salons. It took me two tries. The first one was horrible. I had no idea why they hire some stylists which are rude and give horrible styles without consulting their customers. I then asked a friend about this salon only to be told to try Betto. FYI, I have no idea who my initial first stylist was but Betto is AMAZING! Always ask for him because hes frank and very good at what he does. I am very fussy and I thought it was very refreshing to find an amazing stylist in Miami.

I have never had any luck with coming out of a hair salon after getting a cut and feeling good about the way I look. Ever since I started coming to this salon, I always love my hair! Not to mention the service is fast, employees are very friendly and its not overprice like most salons in Miami. I look forward to my visits there ever other week. Thanks so much to all of you at the salon! P.S. The new salon looks awesome! Great job!

I am pretty picky when it comes to haircuts. I have never had a better experience cutting my hair than here. The salon is good but for us guys it really comes down to the guy who actually does the job. Ask for Aldo, he is excellent and he is the only reason Ill be a regular at this place. Such a relief to finally find someone who does a perfect job.

Definitely value for money!! Very friendly people and chic ambience. Ask for "Aldo" from Paraguay; you wont regret a single bit of it. He knows what hes doing. I have never got a better hair cut. Since, I am just a visiting student from london, I probably wont be here again, even though I so want to be. Loved the whole experience!!

Big waste of time. I went to down town thinking that I could get a decent hair cut, without considering the costs. Unfortunately, I took my hair to this "studio"and regret it completely, the "stylist" massacred my hair and refused to admit it . My advise: Dont go there, they suck!

Guy from Texas walks in without an appointment, wants a carazy blue and green mohawk. One hour fifteen minutes later the masterpiece was complete! Great work and support from the entire staff. Thanks to all of you for being a part of this!

The people are incredibly friendly. Overall not a very professional salon though. I was asked to stand up for the hair cut, which was odd. And the stylist did not do basic cutting/styling techniques that Im used to seeing at nicer salons.

Studio-D by Paolo Salon is great, especially if you have thick and heavy hair. Shes never led me wrong and a great person to chat to.The other stylists are great as well. It can be hard to get an appointment, but its worth the wait.
