Equipment: Most of the equipment is either old or in repair. The equipment material is also mostly left sweaty or ripped. Some of the staff are rude with very little regard for new members. My experience at Crunch Washington came this month as I purchased a Living Social 1 month deal for $39.99. The day I went in to sign up I was attended by an individual who has since been fired called Lenny ( so i was told by current employee). Lenny attended me while eating his lunch at his desk. With a mouth fool of food and taking personal calls all the time while aggressively trying to get me to sign a contract for $69.99. Later after my workout he lowered his offer to $49.99 after telling me he had "called into head office or approval". So here is my quick story: I signed up for my living social deal on May 30th, 2011. I found out today that they back dated the start of my trial membership to May 24th. Despite my claim of having started May 30th, the employee did not believe me and so my membership was no longer valid - unless i was willing to sign up there on the spot. NO thanks! So despite purchasing a free month trial, i could only use it for 27 days. Unfortunately this gym stands up to the south beach mantra: bad service - high price!

Still a member but only because I cant find anything else in my neighborhood. OLD machines, always breaking/broken, everything in the gym is REALLY outdated, and things like the stereo in the group fitness room or the treadmills break on a regular basis but it takes them forever to fix anything. Once I think we listened to iPod with speakers for over a week in group classes. Really expensive for what you get, costs a hundred just to sign up, some of the staff are rude to members, and I think the worst part really is that its just a not well-maintained gym, just like the one on Alton Road. Cardio machines are squeaky, sweaty, old; treadmills have TVs but about half of them dont work, and dont even get started with the dumbbells in the group fitness room....stinky, sticky, broken, old. On top of this, the volume in the classes is so loud I have ringing in the ears quite often and have to wear earplugs. I have complained on Twitter and they just get back to me telling me to contact this and that person, but I really dont have time for that. DONT JOIN. I only go for the group classes, otherwise the whole place is a joke.

THE woRst gym in Miami!!!! My boyfriend signed me up for Crunch as a birthday present! I went for a first time yesturday and the front desk person was so rude.... i asked him " DO I need a locker? he said that normally i have to buy if i want, but i dont have to worry i could leave my stuff there. So i trusted him... i left my purse there. the gym was almost emplty. Guess what !!! when i go back in 30 min later i see that $850 cash are missing from my bag!!!! $850!!!!! Normally i never have cash with me but it was for my birthday... i wanted to do something nice for myself. that was my first time at the gym!!!! Someone probably saw that im a new girl there and decide to take my money... the guy at the front desk didnt even apologize.... nothing! he didnt care at all! i called the police! They said that the owner has the right to keep and not to show the camera records....and there is nothing they could do! DO NOT GO THERE!!!! THEY WILL SEE THAT YOU ARE NEW THERE AND THEY GONNA MAKE FUN OF YOU! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR CASH!!!!!

The worst gym in the world I have ever visited. Extremely rude, totally unprofessional management (especially Tanya Savage) who act themselves like arrogant Hispanic mafia and discriminate white people. We had many problems with payments and cancelation. We even had to change our bank accounts to stop that gym charging us! Main office called us every day telling us: we had to pay, however local management told us many times in very rude way like they canceled our contracts and we are idiots. Also that disgusting gym is always overfull with tones of deviant people who work out or just walk around the gym almost naked kicking you because they look only into the mirrors. Unbelievable!

I have been working out at this gym for 7 years now (since it was Ironworks). I have just about had it. Every week something new breaks and then they take weeks to repair it. They have useless machines that no one uses and then refuse to purchase equipment which everyone asks for. How is it that they do not have a GOOD targeted glute machine in a gym that is frequented by many women and an army of gay men. Then whenever you need to use certain straps or belts you have to hunt them down (if you even find them). I have found that the trainers hide them in their drawer in order to have them readily available for their clients. Screw everyone else. SOOOOO OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!

I called in to ask a bout memberships & I never got a clean answer I had a 30 minute conversation since this guy just wanted to chat about life....? Like really? It was so unprofessional & I still didnt know how much memberships cost. So I went in a couple days later and asked a guy at the front who was flirting with one of his customers! And he said with an attitude $130 A WEEK! which means itll be 500 something a month. Is he on crack?! I laughed in his face and asked if im going to be paying rent here or something. These people are insane. Not even interested in this gym anymore.
