I was the next of kin for muy fathers funeral, and was told could do nothing w/o me. I was then told that a grandchild has come across a will, bit the owner of Royal has not seen the papers but knew the young man had paperwork. Was then told he would have the young man call us, but we never heard from the young man or owner. The next day we found out through no assitance of them that evrything would be processed in the next few days. Also in the begining we were told we were the only next of kin that they would authorize everything over the phone, and they had no clue wether it was us or not, which is highly ilegal. So at this point we have been given no answers, so we will seek answers from who ever governs funeral homes. They recived one star because my father was laid t rest beautifully, their inreraction with us was totally unprofessional. And serious questions that have yet to be answered at this point we are in search of answers legally.

My cousins viewing was at Royal Funeral Home about a month ago. The service was good. The the building is perfect very spacious. there was enough parking spaces also. The only problem I had was that when I asked for a quote for a viewing and shipping of the body to Dominican Republic the manager told my family it was going to be approximately $3,000. he said that depending on my cousins weight it was probably going to cost a "a little bit more." It ended up being $5,200. The $3k was only to pick him up from the hospital, prepare him and the viewing. EVERYTHING else was extra. he should ve gave us a price much more closer to the actual price. In this situations there is no time to play.

My little brother Damian Parks passed two years ago in Daytona Beach, FL where he was attending Bethune Cookman University and from the beginning to this very day the Royal FH staff has been so helpful. The shipping of his body, the preparation, funeral service and burial was a little over 8k because of the arrangements my parents made, but it was worth it. The staff was professional. They were exact with the pricing and service that was provided. My brother had a true home going service you hear me. Thanks Royal FH. Rest in Peace Damian Parks, Shakur Parks and Dwight Parks.
