I took my car to Downs to repair a door ding. The man I spoke to (I believe his name was Cooper) was very unprofessional, to the point of making fun of my misfortune by laughing in my face when he told me my repair "Wasnt going to be cheap". While I was in his office discussing my quote, several employees came in asking about the keys to a vehicle in their garage. This struck me as alarming because the last thing you want to hear from a repair shop is "Sorry. We lost your keys." Furthermore, Cooper appeared incompetent, asking for second opinions several times throughout the quote process. Once it was all said and done with, he told me that the repair would cost almost $3,000. I mentioned how difficult this would be as a college student, and he made a remark about how I should ask "Mommy to pay for it". Shocked, I took my vehicle to another repair shop, Quality Paint and Body, in downtown Milton. The gentleman there told me that it would cost only $850 to repair my vehicle. Needless to say, I had the repair done at Quality Paint and Body. My overall opinion of Downs is that they are crooked. It may have just been the man I spoke with, but I did not have a good experience there. My advice would be to avoid Downs if at all possible.

I was rear ended in 2015 and upon the recommendation of several friends took my vehicle to Downs. However due to a problem with the insurance company, I had to take my vehicle elsewhere for service. The staff at Downs were extremely helpful throughout the process and answered all of my questions and help to alleviate the frustration of having to take my vehicle to another shop across town. I told them that if I ever needed their services again I would look them up. Unfortunately in early 2016 I did need a good body shop and I took my vehicle to Downs. They did an outstanding job of returning my very low-mile vehicle to showroom condition. Staff were friendly and helpful and took care of all paperwork; basically I just had to show up and pay the deductible and pick up my vehicle when they were done. I would definitely recommend this shop for anyone who needs paint and body services.

Referred here I thought I was was in good hands. Not the case. I was told 5 days, then 6 then 7 then it turned into 12. All the while I would have rented a car had they been upfront instead of leading me to believe each day it would be complete. When I picked up my car I found a slew of unfinished and poor work. Things I had discussed were not done and some they knew was not done but did not tell me about until I was there to pick it up. My messages were rarely returned and I ended up having to go through claims rep to get any kind of answers. My car is literally dangerous to drive the way they gave it to me the part causing this should have been replaced to begin with.

I will never use them again. Sloppy work and poor quality control. There were so many things wrong with the vehicle after picking it up that it filled an entire page. Make sure you take detailed close up pictures when you drop it off and compare them when picking it up. There were scratches on parts of the car that werent there prior to dropping it off. They told me I would have to prove that they werent there beforehand. Thankfully I had the pictures to prove it. It took and excessive amount of time and effort into making sure the vehicle was somewhat decent in the end. Ultimately I ended up trading the car in because I was disgusted with it.

Although they did a great job on the damage & paint, the pin striping was all wrong & looked terrible. Unfortunately, someone else paid for the work before they corrected their error. They got their money so they could care less now. They wont return my calls & when I did reach the manager, he never called me back as promised. Staff person was rude when I tried to originally pick up the car and even spoke badly about his manager. Will never use them again. Thank goodness my own insurance doesnt use them! I only went to them because the person paying was a "friend" of theirs & I was trying to be nice about the accident.

I have a 2013 Camaro ss that I banged up on a curb pretty good. I had to return 3 times . First was my steering wheel it wasnt straight , then they glazed the front bumper and they glazed over dirt. I took it back again to buffer the sand out and dulled the front right bumper and scared the paint. # 3 now I have paint Peeling just where they painted. The car is going back tomorrow so they can fix it once again, Im very dissatisfied . I will never go with them again

The service was excellent and very easy process. I was sent there by Geico after a car accident. This facility works with Geico and and Enterprise car rental so you drop off your car and get the rental in the same office in just minutes. Once you arrive they have everything ready for you so all you do is sign one paper. They repaired my car in 2 days and looks like nothing ever happened. Their stuff is very friendly and professional.

Took my car there for them to repair my bumper got my car back in someone had broke my drivers side arm rest they didnt take responsibility of the damage,dont take your car there Im believer n being honest n wanted me to file a insurance claim,DONT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE FOR REPAIRS!!!!
