I had recently purchased a home to be built in the new community development near Medical City. Since I am a stay at home Mother, I had time to visit the site on an almost daily basis to oversee the construction. Not that I have any construction experience to tell this from that, I found that the Electricians installing the fixtures, outlets, and light switches; who introduced themselves to me with a sincere warmth as Chance and Velas(I apologize if I have Velas name spelled incorrectly). These two gentlemen took time to show me how to operate a GFI outlet, so as to save me unnecessary Service Calls in the future(apparently an old trick of the trade to fleece the uninformed homeowner when the outlet "pops"), and made sure that all of my fixtures were installed to my liking. They took time to show me common troubleshooting situations I may encounter and were extremely knowledgeable about their trade. What struck me as outstanding and unique about Chance and Velas was their genuine concern for my familys comfort and happiness with the finished product; things even our Builder never did, let alone any of the other contractors working on building our home. I cant speak for the rest of Approved Electrics employees, or even the company itself, but Chance and Velas were, in my mind, what a contractor should be: kind, attentive, compassionate, and eager to get the job done right the first time, while teaching me how to save money in the future by setting timers on the Water Heater. I would strongly recommend Chance and Velas from Approved Electric for any of your electrical needs. I was so impressed with the level of service and personal attention I received, that I baked them brownies and cobbler to take home to their wives as well as brought them lunch each afternoon throughout the duration of their work on my home(only 3 days if I recall. They had other projects going at the same time but never made me feel like I was just a number. If Approved Electric has more men like Chance and Velas, then I personally feel like you cannot go wrong in calling them. Ask for these two gentlemen specifically and I know they will show you the same kind of personal service that I received. I consider myself to be a good judge of character, and these men were as sincere, gracious, and knowledgeable as any Ive ever known--regardless of trade. If youve ever been, or plan to be, active in the process of building your dream house. . .I cannot stress enough the importance of the peace of mind these fine gentlemen gave me. My home is finished now. All of my light switches are straight, even, and flush. Our outlets dont wobble and are also straight and flush, and the knowledge they gave me has already paid off in the fact that I know how to fix simple problems. Perhaps Im gushing joy a little too much, but my experience with these two gentlemen was unlike any other I had throughout the entire process. Call Approved Electric, ask for Chance and Velas, and I promise you. . .you WILL know what Im talking about. Thank you Chance. Thank you Velas. God bless you on your journey forward.
