BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! I had Ferran Services come out to replace a burnt out socket in meter box. Electrician told me that it would be $114/hour and the cost of the part, when I asked about the cost of the part, he said he will have to see if he has the part in his van. After about 30 minutes he knocked on the door with a bill of $114 (labor) + $99 (part). When I asked him why is the part so expensive, he said he had to charge for the whole new meter box even when he had just replaced a socket. When I asked him if I could have the rest of the meter box, since I am paying for it, he hesitated and after asking a few times, he brought me a used box that has previous mounting marks all over it. First, 100A Electrical box retails for $25-$30 (on the higher end). I get it that there it cost to procure inventory (well of course they will secure a bulk discount, but I can ignore that). Does it cost Ferrans $70/box to bulk order???? Second, it is an unethical practice to charge customer for the entire unit when only a part is used and keep the remaining unit for the next customer that they will charge for the whole meter box and take the piece out of the one I PAID FOR! Third, not giving customer the part I paid for. Giving a clearly previously used box when repeatedly asked is not ethical and very shady. I would not use Ferran Services again and would tell all my neighbors, friends, family and people in sphere of influence to never use them.

We have been using Ferran Services for over 15 years, for air-conditioning, plumbing and electrical repair. After having our HVAC installed by a well known local company that seemed to care only about new construction installation but did not have the staff needed for ongoing maintenance, it was an incredible relief to find a locally owned and operated company that does such a great job on service and repairs. Many of the same long time Ferran technicians that helped us back in the early years are still there, which is unusual and refreshing. Even though we had a twice a year maintenance contract with the prior HVAC company that did our installation 17 years ago, our A/C line still backed up only two years after we moved in, and caused over $15,000 of damage to our wood floors while we were out of town. The old company was being paid to service our equipment - yet was not flushing the lines, thus the damage took place. We were told by a friend to call Ferran. Great advice - they immediately found the problem, fixed it and have since helped us tremendously over the years. Now when the A/C needs tweaking, or we have a faucet leak or electrical issue, we call Ferran. They have never let us down and I cannot say enough positive things about them. If all businesses cared about their customers and reputation as much as Ferran does, the world would be a much better place.

We are new to the area and Florida and just purchased a new home. We asked about Electrical and AC services and received a recommendation from a friend to Ferran Services. From the front office, to Nick the salesperson, to his team of professional installers, we were absolutely thrilled with the work to install a new AC unit, duct work, insulation and window tinting. The work was completed in a timely manner, the house site was left spotless upon completion of the job. Nick continuously checked in during the work. Installers were professional at all times and explained what they were doing. Inspection from the City went flawlessly and signed off. We would absolutely refer/recommend and use Ferran Services again. We also used Ferran Electrical services for the electrical work and were highly satisfied with the Electrical team and work completed as well! One very nice touch was to receive a thank you card and a small gift for doing business with them. I had an excellent experience with Ferran Services & Contracting when my landlord hired them to repair a really messed-up shower dial & valve assembly. The landlord had previously hired someone else, and that guy came in and basically gave up with the excuse of not being able to find the right parts. Ferran was then hired, and their guy came promptly and professionally and now my shower looks BETTER than it did before work even started, and it actually works properly. I was particularly impressed because we hit a small snag in the repair job due to some crappy construction in my apartment and a shutoff valve that wasnt working quite right. The Ferran employee handled the problems calmly and methodically, including dealing quite courteously with the maintenance guy from my apartment complex, who was a total jerk to the Ferran plumber. All in all, my experience with the Ferran Services & Contracting staff that I worked with was probably one of the best professional service experiences that Ive ever had or ever heard of.

I called the first time and was quoted for afterhours rate $129 just for coming out there, $65 for the first $30 minutes and $22 every 15 minutes after. I called back again to make sure these were the rates. The plumber got to my rental at 11:25pm. My tenant called me 12:36 and told me that he is finished and was putting his stuff in his truck. So I figured Ill be paying $260 (129+65+22+22+22). She said he will be calling me soon. I text my tenant at 12:52 am and asked if hes still there. At 1:00, the plumber called me and said that my bill was $470. He said just to locate the outside drain was $79!!!!! Are you kidding me?!!!! Im he has a very good idea where it was. Probably took him less than 5 minutes to find it, $79!!!!!! They lost my business for my rental and home.

Had our home AC replaced with a new Carrier AC/Heat pump...both energy efficient....cannot believe the savings and best of all the professional and caring installation and then follow up care given by Ferran Services!!...all of the technicians are professional and friendly. They know their stuff and love working for their company....and it shows. They took away the ole equipment, and months later when having some problems with the non user friendly thermostat, Ferran replaced the thermostat with a much more user friendly model for FREE. Have used Ferran services for all of my electrical needs for over 15 years. Would recommend to anyone. Great people, great service, and they stand behind their products and their service. Reliable!!

I have been renovating a house in Orlando to rent. I called several contractors to get quotes on AC, Plumbing and Electrical. The most conservative estimates came from Ferran saving us almost $7,000. Additionally, their technicians told me ways to save money! The suggestions they made to me would have made money for Ferran, so I was surprised and pleased. The technicians were well trained, knowledgeable and extremely polite and helpful. Their explanations made sense and were geared to helping me the customer understand!
