New to the area and needing a haircut at somewhere thats open on Mondays I went straight to groupon and found a Haircut, shampoo, blowdry and style for Cutting Edge Chic Hair Salon. It was a little further than I wanted to drive (about 40 minutes) but I called morning of and they got me in 2 hours later. As soon as Ivan started on my hair he said "You have long hair, and a lot of it" This is a big deal to me as I have had many many hair dressers go "Oh you dont have that much hair" until theyre halfway through it going "Oh my god you have a lot of hair" so for him to notice before he even started, I knew I was in good hands. I showed him pictures of the cut and bangs I wanted. We talked through everything as far as length, shape, how my bangs needed to fall. The cut came out PERFECT. He even talked me through what would be good as far as coloring my hair. Im naturally an ashy blonde, but currently have a sort of natural ombre going on from letting my full on dye job grow out. He listened to my thoughts and made some really good suggestions, I plan on going back next month for some fun highlights and low lights to really liven up my style!!

The salon is okay and the staff is nice, but I did not received the best service. I made an appointment for hair color for 9:30am. I was asking for opinions on the color. Later, someone walked in and she came back to me saying that she was fully booked and was not going to be able to do my hair color anyways. Instead, I asked her for a color deposit, and she said: "I can, but in the afternoon. We are all booked right now." I got there at 9:30 AM, they attended me at 10:15 AM and then because someone who DID NOT make an appointment walked in to the salon, I cant have my color done. I know I was not sure what color to choose, but this is the main reason we go to an stylist.. for recommendations. I only got a haircut and blow dry. She tried to be nice to me, but I was disappointed because if someone makes an appointment early in the morning, of course is not interested in coming back later.

Can I give MORE than 5 stars? I work in PBG, and desperately needed a trim, so I decided to find somewhere nearby for a quick, cheap cut. Cutting Edge had an awesome discount posted on Groupon, and Paris was able to get me in right after work. I didnt really have expectations because I just needed the split ends trimmed, but as soon as I walked in, they treated me like I was their most important customer (which was surprising because they knew I would be paying with a coupon.) Paris did my trim and a deep conditioning treatment. The before and after was an unbelievable improvement- literally my hair looks 10 years younger! He put 110% into my little Groupon trim and treatment, recommended the best products for my hair and gave me awesome tips! The deep conditioning treatment he used on my hair was AMAZING! I will absolutely be going back!!

Linda really took the time to style my difficult-to-manage hair, and recommended the Amargan line of products to keep the shine but eliminate the frizz-- which in this Florida humidity is completely amazing! My style lasted a while and I didnt suffer from gluey, weighed-down hair. With an aim towards hair health, not only did I look great when I left the salon but I feel that my hair can only improve with the combination of experienced styling and top-of-the-line product. I highly recommend seeking out this salon and asking for Linda!

I went here for a hair emergency. I had just moved from Atlanta and Googled hair salon near me. When I arrived, Paris and his mother greeted me. They were super nice. I sat down in Pariss chair and asked him to save my hair. I had super long hair and I left with a bob. The whole time he was talking to me and letting me know it was okay to cry. Since it was a new change, new beginning, chopping off my hair was a symbol for me letting go of everything in the past. I LOVED my new hairdo. Paris is AMAZING!!!!!

The best experience ever. My daughter was very nervous to get her hair cut as its very long. By the time she sat in the chair she was fine. Her comments are I love my new hairstylist. I was impressed with the communication between them. They deserve more than 5 stars. I will also start coming to cutting edge for myslef. They really make you feel welcomed.

Ivan made my hair AMAZING! Perfect cut and color correction of an "ombre" that i had done in mass. I went from half dark/ half bronzey-orange to a georgous blonde. And i thought it was amazing how he put in consideration the angles of my face, shapes of my eyes, eyebrows. Very very friendly staff, i will definitely be going back!!!!!

Worst haircut I have ever had in my life!!!! Will take more than 6 months to grow out the damage. Do not go to this salon especially if you see a stylist with rainbow hair. I have pictures that will show the extent of damage.
