We had an incredible experience with Delectables! Many of my friends had used Delectables for their weddings and parties in the past, so we already trusted them, but they still impressed us! Janice was our contact person, and she was always professional, helpful, patient, reassuring, and made everything so easy for us. Delectables catered our wedding reception dinner on 3/5/16 (we chose the Tropical/Latin Nights menu as the base) and everyone raved about it. We had a great variety of food and tons leftover! They also catered our wedding brunch on Sunday after the wedding, and again, provided a perfect experience. Everyone was so happy to see such a great selection of items Sunday, especially those who were recovering from a late night the night before :o) The staff at both events could not have been nicer or more accommodating - they never came to me or my coordinator with any problems or issues, and just worked hard and made everyone happy. Of all the things that go into planning a wedding, it was so nice to feel like Delectables was taking care of all the elements and details of the food, and we didnt ever need to stress about a single thing that was going on with our catering. I simply cannot say enough good things about Delectables Catering...the food was OUTSTANDING--guests raved about our menu, and repeatedly went back to the buffet to try new items. I worked mainly with Michelle W. to set everything up, and she could not have been more pleasant or more helpful. Every request I made, or question I had--she responded to in a timely manner, and with good humor:) Mary was the chief server and coordinator on the event day, and was most gracious and effecient. The day of the wedding, the caterers arrived at 2pm to set up for the 5:00 event, and didnt leave until 10--the service they provided was extraordinary. All the servers and chefs were super attentive--I had 4 butler passed appetizers, a main buffet with Caeser salad, chicken boursin, potatoes au gratin (fabulous), roasted vegies--as well as a pasta bar, and chateaubriand (filet of beef) carving station. We had a small event (50 guests) at my home--the weather was perfect, and the day made even more magical due to the good fortune of picking the very best caterer in the Tampa Bay area--Delectables truly lived up to their name!!

Delectables catered our wedding in May 2010, and the entire experience, from my first email correspondence with Marilyn through the day-of was amazing. Marylin was very accommodating and responded quickly to emails. The food at our wedding was even better than the food at the tasting we went to. We had chicken boursin, chef-carved sirloin, gouda potatoes, crab cakes, scallops, corn nuggets, and fried ravioli. The caters brought out a tray of appetizers to the wedding party during pictures, which we didnt even ask for! At the end of the night, we were cleaning up the room, and the caterers were kind enough to tell us to just leave anything there we didnt want and they would throw it away. I felt we got a great value for what we paid, the food was very good (they even wrapped up the leftovers for us, which made for a nice lunch for the wedding party the next day), and the service was truly above and beyond! As a server myself, I feel compelled to add that Delectables only includes a 10% gratuity-these guys deserve more than that, tip them well!

I am a bride who booked Delectables for my March 2010 wedding. With two weeks until my wedding, things got hectic. My fiance and I made our food selections and didnt think twice about it. I was so impressed and grateful when Marilyn, the Event Coordinator called me to discuss some of my menu choices. She advised me that my entree and starch selection would not work well together and was truly wanting our dinner to be fantastic. She made great recommendations for complimentary items and I was extremely impressed with her sincerity and consideration towards our reception. As a bride, I am always appreciative of assistance. Thank you, Marilyn and Delectables for honoring and upholding the quality of your company. I will use this company in the future for any and all of my catering needs!

I have used Delectables at least 4 times, spread over several years, for one simple reason: They are the best in the Tampa Bay area. They have catered parties of 40 to a 140 people for me, and every time, the food was spectacular. Ask for Randy or Jim to be your supervisor-they both did great jobs for me. I have spoken to the owners and they are knowledgable about every event they are doing-they just dont own the place, but are actually involved with every single event. I know they do several parties of more than 800 people annually, as well as delivering food for a dozen people, and pretty much everything in-between. Having a small party or big event, just hire Delectables, and you and your guests will be well fed and very happy.

Lost a customer for life! We went for a tasting, and although past experience was great, the food was so, so. They were not having a tasting in July, and my daughter is starting law school in the fall, and needs to sign all contracts and be done planning by August.... so we requested, and offered to pay for a private tasting of the foods we were going to order, namely Prime Rib & Salmon, which were not offered at the tasting.... We have 180 guests coming.... WE WERE SHOCKED to get a letter advising they could not accommodate the request because we have 1 year before the wedding to attend all the tastings, and decide then. OKAY. THANKS for letting us know you dont want $10K in business!

Had a dreadful experience with this organization. The staff communicate very poorly amongst themselves, delivery was to the wrong address and the sliders arrived unassembled with dry rolls--we threw it all away. In sharing my disappointment, a very surly staff member was defensive, curt, and rude. As they say, you can work on your reputation for years and ruin it in five minutes. I had my five minutes LOUD and CLEAR. Even my first email with a manager was very defensive ("we never have complaints, blah, blah) After explaining to her my experience, she at least apologized. I would never suggest that anyone consider this organization for a future event. I paid in full for my bill.

Highly Recommend Delectables! We worked with Marilyn to create a delicious menu that was in our budget, for our early April wedding in St. Pete Beach. Everyone loved all the food at the wedding, our guests are still talking about how great everything was. The entire staff at Delectables went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and everything was taken care of. The presentation was beautiful and our ice sculpture matched our decor perfect. We are so happy with how everything turned out and appreciate everything! Thank you!

Delectables was a pleasure to work with from day one. They catered a 50th birthday party for us on Feb 1, 2013. The staff assigned to us was expierienced and professional in every way. They were never thrown off no matter what we needed. It seems they were prepared for everything. The food was to die for. The prime rib just melted in our mouths. My guests raved about how excellent it was. All the presentations were first class. I will reccomend them to any one. If you want a flawless party they can provide it.
