I enrolled my daughter in ballet in January. Luigi taught her class, and she did not enjoy it. I spoke to the owner, Miss Kelly, and she suggested a small class of younger students that she taught. That sounded good, so we opted to change classes. This class started 5-10 minutes late every week. After trying that class for 3 weeks, she said she didnt like it and wanted to do a "real" ballet class, so I spoke to Miss Kelly again about changing. She said she now taught the class Luigi used to teach, as he no longer worked there. I thought that would be great, but it turned out to be worse. Not only did the class start 15 minutes late every time (and I paid for a full hour of instruction), but Miss Kelly did not spend the time teaching any ballet basics. One class she spent 15 minutes showing them a Chinese fan...not only did none of the girls know what to do, but what does a fan have to do with BALLET?? After 2 months of instruction, my daughter does not know: 1st position, 2nd position, plea, etc...no basics! I sent Miss Kelly an email asking for a refund due to the unprofessional instruction and tardy class times, and I was told this is what I agreed to when I signed up. I can assure you that I DID NOT AGREE TO ANY OF THIS!!! Talk about bait and switch. Other parents that sat in the waiting room expressed their frustration and said they would not be returning after the month ended. One family I know had been there for 6 years and just recently switched to another studio because their daughter wanted to improve her skills. That tells you a lot. Save your money and go to Tutterow. They teach BALLET, they are less expensive than Dance Central and their waiting room is not over crowded and doesnt smell like a dirty sweat sock.

Out of all the studios I have been too, this is the most amazing one. Kelley King is the most enthusiastic instructor I have ever met. She takes time to pay attention to all of her dancers needs and really helps them reach their goals whatever it may be. She makes dancing so much more fun! The rest of the staff is just as wondeful and everyone there is so friendly. They also have fun camps and events too! They really have an environment here that is wonderful for anyone, any age, and any level!

My daughter has attended Dance Central for about 5 months now and we love it! They make everyone feel so welcome. The owner Miss Kelly is wonderful along with Ron who keeps Dance Central running smoothly. Mr. Luigi teaches my daughters class and he is amazing as well. They have special activities including parents night out, shows, etc. The jazz class is something my daughter looks forward to every week and I can see her dancing improving. So happy we found Dance Central!

Im in my 3rd year at dance central, and I am so so grateful for finding it! Ms. Kelley teaches in depth and has so much experience in dance that I know Im getting the training needed for the future. She takes time and energy and puts her whole heart into her work. The atmosphere feels family based as well, with so many kind hearted and encouraging friends and people to help with anything.
